What suits you best?

Down

Half up- half down

All up

I have a bob, so looks better as it is supposed to be, in its bob.

Never put it up.

3LittleMonkeyz · 29/05/2020 16:42

I look much much better with it down. But I always end up tying it up in some way as I get too hot and bothered. At high school I used to leave my hair bands at home on purpose, but soon learnt to twist it into a chignon with a biro holding it in place.

Laiste · 29/05/2020 16:43

IF it's just clean and just styled then it looks good down.

IF it's up and doing what it's bloody told and staying right up on top of my head properly with nice tendrils then it looks good up. (and makes me look a bit younger IMO)

90% of the time however it's either down styled hours ago and looks shite, or put up hours ago and has slipped down and looks shite Grin

LellyMcKelly · 29/05/2020 16:43

Are you talking about willies?

Laiste · 29/05/2020 16:45

Yes Lelly, i keep a willy right on top of my head Grin

thenewaveragebear1983 · 29/05/2020 16:45

I think I look better with it down but it's incredibly thick and since lockdown, getting quite Long, so it's usually up. I sleep with it in a side plait.

topcat2014 · 29/05/2020 16:45

I was thinking of web cams - as in looking up at the camera rather than down - given we are all zooming now.

lilgreen · 29/05/2020 16:49

If it’s hair, definitely down.

Deelish75 · 29/05/2020 16:51

Hair?
Winter I have it down. Layered bob.
Summer I grow it out and tie it up cos it's sooooo thick

Rainbunny · 29/05/2020 16:55

Hair right?

Down in my case, it's fine and ponytails/buns make my hair look really thin somehow. Plus I have the beginnings of jowls and up-styles seem to draw attention to that unwelcome feature!

Mind you, despite this I've pretty much been wearing my hair up in a permanent lockdown bun for months now (when I'm not in a zoom meeting).

Candyfloss99 · 29/05/2020 16:56

I always wear my hair up because it's easier but I'd wear it down for a night out.

BillywigSting · 29/05/2020 16:59

My hair looks better up because it's very thick and long, and pretty wild looking when it's down.

My up dos tend to have lots of volume and texture I hardly ever put it up severely Eg. A slick ponytail or tight bun, which suits absolutely no one. It's always a sort of messy/tousled bun/twist with face framing wispy bits

user1481840227 · 29/05/2020 16:59

I think most women look better with it down.
I don't understand why up dos for brides are the norm!

howlatthetrees · 29/05/2020 16:59

I think I look better with it down

swampytiggaa · 29/05/2020 17:00

Short. So neither 😉

Notso · 29/05/2020 17:01

If it's hair then down.
I look like Miss Trunchbull with it up and Daisy from Keeping Up Appearances with it half up half down.

ProsperTheBear · 29/05/2020 17:01

I don't understand why up dos for brides are the norm!

possibly because it's one of the few occasions when they can have a professionally done style

Mines really short, clippers at a no6 at the back and sides, longer in the top (normally - it’s ridiculously long at the moment) so not a issue here...

Topseyt · 29/05/2020 17:02

Some people look better with their arses up.

cardibach · 29/05/2020 17:04

Mine’s really short - clippered to a no6 at the back and sides, but longer on the top (usually - stupidly long at the moment) so not really relevant...

FlibbertyGiblets · 29/05/2020 17:05

What about people with hair loss, great to know OP thinks they could look 'better'.

FreakStar · 29/05/2020 17:07

I think most people look better with hair down. I don't think hair longer than the shoulders is very flattering though.

SilverOtter · 29/05/2020 17:08

I like the look of mine down, but it is so thick and long (inching towards waist length thanks lockdown🙄, and makes me so hot, that I end up with it tied up 99% of the timeSad

Kelsoooo · 29/05/2020 17:12

Definitely down for me. But it's usually up. it just...blows everywhere.

I do love it though when I've bothered to straighten it and it's in a pony....it swishes. I have swishy hair. When it's down its swishy and bouncy.

I usually only wear it down in summer, how odd I've just realised that, so then my hair is swishy and bouncy and you can tell my mood by how bouncy it is
