I'm beginning to be skeptical of any reports of 'doom for GOP' or 'massive Trump loss 2020'. I hate to be so suspicious but I worry that they are a ploy/campaign to encourage overconfidence or apathy in right 'left'-minded voters. IMO It's what did us in in 2016.
I agree to a certain extent,
Across, but I feel strongly that the Dems lost in 2016 not only through their complacency but also because of their constant in-fighting, where Sanders supporters could not or would not bring themselves to vote for Hillary Clinton for idealogical reasons. I fear history is going to repeat itself this year, too. From what I can see on Twitter, Sanders' supporters are still aggressively anti-Biden and are busy putting their ideology ahead of the most important thing this November, which is to get rid of Trump come what may. Once Dems are safely in power,
then they can get on with the ideological in-fighting whilst repairing the damage Trump has done to the entire USA (and hopefully come up with someone under 50 to unite their party, as well).
