I'm not expecting anyone to take my side but just wanted to put my point across because you seriously are a lot of misinformed busy bodies.

Oh dear Lord, do you all not have enough going on in your own lives without having to spend so much time thinking about DC. Mumsnet in general is a Labour Loving Lick Arse group and no matter what the tories do, you all complain. I've seen threads on here about whether people should be reporting neighbours to police for having parties etc and the majority of you said no. Make your bloody minds up. It's only because of who it is, you are all going mad. You make out like the whole country followed guidelines to a tee and he is the only one who has done anything wrong, even though he hasn't. His job as a loving father comes before everything, and if it wasn't for the fact my kids are teenagers and very self sufficient, we would have had to do something similar as both myself and hubby were very ill with C19 with underlying health conditions. Focus on your own lives and leave other people alone. Everyone thinks they can get involved in other people's lives and it's getting bloody ridiculous.

MN seems very right wing to me, definitely not a hotbed of Labour supporters.

ZaraW · 25/05/2020 15:33

Yes OP, I agree. But we mustn't forget MN is predominantly left wing and so they are all salivating at this opportunity. Yes it's pathetic but they don't care. The Labour bots are earning easy money so they are happy, win/win all round.

Lol you think Mumsnet is left wing seriously? It's been going to the right for years. Sometimes it seems like the second home of Daily Mail readers.

HaddawayAndShite · 25/05/2020 16:53

No, just because i have a different view than most of you doesn't make me an arsehole.
No, having a different view doesn't make you an arsehole, when you articulate that view in an educated and respectful way.

you seriously are a lot of misinformed busy bodies.
Mumsnet in general is a Labour Loving Lick Arse group
I can 100% guarantee I am smarter than you.
You have no idea who you're talking to
Statements like this make you an arsehole.

If you're going to be billy big bollocks and post a deliberately inflammatory post insulting people, at least do it under your usual username. It shows how spineless you are.

walkingchuckydoll · 25/05/2020 17:44

Focus on your own lives and leave other people alone.

The whole of mumsnet would be obsolete if we didn't focus on other peoples lives. So why are you here?

SchrodingersBox · 25/05/2020 18:09

The whining about every thing that Dominic Cummings and Boris Johnson do will carry on for at least 8 years. It may lessen in 2028 because I think Johnson will step down with a year left before the subsequent general election to allow whoever takes over from as PM time before they go to the polls.

Having said that they will still be insisting that Remain won the Brexit referendum and that Labour won the argument in the 2017 election.

lazylinguist · 25/05/2020 18:15

Oh dear Lord, do you all not have enough going on in your own lives without having to spend so much time thinking about DC.

Do you not have enough going on in your life without stropping about MNers posting threads about DC?

ZaraW · 25/05/2020 18:18

I can't think of anything more depressing than BoJo being PM for another 8 years.

EsmeShelby · 25/05/2020 18:29

Hi Mary, what are you lying about today?

HirooOnoda · 25/05/2020 19:20

@SchrodingersBox but remain didn’t win and if the argument was to convince voters to vote for them then labour clearly didn’t win the argument Hmm

All the sniping about Brexit and the last election aside it is only fit and proper for any democracy that the ruling power is held to account, this has always been the case and surely no true supporter of democracy could ever disagree with that. It is only through scrutiny of decision making that we can ensure the government fulfil its duty.

In a perfect world this scrutiny wouldn’t be required. This, as you may have seen, is not a perfect world.
