I'm not expecting anyone to take my side but just wanted to put my point across because you seriously are a lot of misinformed busy bodies.

Oh dear Lord, do you all not have enough going on in your own lives without having to spend so much time thinking about DC. Mumsnet in general is a Labour Loving Lick Arse group and no matter what the tories do, you all complain. I've seen threads on here about whether people should be reporting neighbours to police for having parties etc and the majority of you said no. Make your bloody minds up. It's only because of who it is, you are all going mad. You make out like the whole country followed guidelines to a tee and he is the only one who has done anything wrong, even though he hasn't. His job as a loving father comes before everything, and if it wasn't for the fact my kids are teenagers and very self sufficient, we would have had to do something similar as both myself and hubby were very ill with C19 with underlying health conditions. Focus on your own lives and leave other people alone. Everyone thinks they can get involved in other people's lives and it's getting bloody ridiculous.

And niknak, you pop up like a bad smell. Don’t tell me I should be minding children and doing ‘projects’ (wtf) instead of bothering my silly fluffy head with politics.
I am not Labour for the record as it seems to matter to you and op.

MadameMarie · 25/05/2020 13:23

YABU a lot of MN members helped elect Boris last year

FloggingMoll · 25/05/2020 13:52

@Ethelfleda I assume I can use the woolly hat as a DIY face mask? If so that's excellent value for money.

Hobnobswantshernameback · 25/05/2020 13:53

Have we been invaded or summation?

Hobnobswantshernameback · 25/05/2020 13:53

Summat Hmm

PrincessHoneysuckle · 25/05/2020 14:00

Labour lick arses Grin

attackedbycritters · 25/05/2020 14:01

I can't focus on my life and leave others alone if their actions affect my life

SomeoneInTheLaaaaaounge · 25/05/2020 14:05

Awww, first day on the internet OP?

Experimenopause · 25/05/2020 14:07

Are you Cummings OP? Grin

MaxNormal · 25/05/2020 14:13

No, just because i have a different view than most of you doesn't make me an arsehole.

Indeed, it's how you express those views that makes you one.

Averyyounggrandmaofsix · 25/05/2020 14:15

I do have a lot of time on my hands as it happens, mainly because I am self isolating and haven't seen my family for 10 fucking weeks!

HirooOnoda · 25/05/2020 14:16

@Fucksakewiseup why on earth would you name change for this? Either you believe in what you say and thus should be able to coherently defend your stance or you don’t and need to hide behind yet further layers of anonymity.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but at least have the wherewithal to stand by it yourself - how can you ever hope to convince others when your actions belie a lack of belief in your own opinion Smile

strugglingwithdeciding · 25/05/2020 14:26

Dc was wrong so was kinnock so then both should resign be sacked but not seeing the calling of it for him
Can't say one was ok and the other wasn't as both broke rules as such
But I've read on here it was different for kinnock but it still broke rules so therefore it is the same if we are looking at rules being broken

HirooOnoda · 25/05/2020 14:33

@strugglingwithdeciding and those other professionals leading our response to this crisis (Ferguson / deputy medical director in Scotland) who rightly recognised their mistakes, knew the harm these could cause and left their posts?

This isn’t about party politics, if it were then more people like you would be attempting to throw Jenrick (Tory) and Kinnock (Labour) under the bus. This is about a senior figure responsible for providing the advice to help us through this not following his own advice, on multiple occasions

Pixiefringe · 25/05/2020 14:36

Fully agree with you OP!!

strugglingwithdeciding · 25/05/2020 14:38

@hiro but they all represent the public so yes if one is expected they should all go

strugglingwithdeciding · 25/05/2020 14:40

@Hiroo and yes it is very much about party politics for some as you only need to read there previous posts
And dc not even an elected mp

ChaToilLeam · 25/05/2020 14:42

How was the weather in Durham, btw?

Hmm
chrislilleyswig · 25/05/2020 14:45

Jesus we've been locked down for too long

OP. I'm a Tory. I think DC cocked up. Where do I fit in?

Although by your use of the term "hubby" I'm not sure you can guarantee that you're 100% smarter than anyone 🤷‍♀️

HirooOnoda · 25/05/2020 14:45

@strugglingwithdeciding well not withstanding the fact that there are scales of transgression and not all breaches are equal are you simply saying that Cummings should go but that both Kinnock and Robert Jenrick should also be fired?

I have sympathy for anyone who wants to see equal treatment as a result of their perceived misdemeanours however there is a difference between dropping food off for your elderly parents (Kinnock / Jenrick) and driving 300 miles with a car full of Coronavirus and proceeding to take leisure trips the likes of the rest of the county were explicitly told not to take, ironically by the very man who was now taking said leisure trip

bearlyactive · 25/05/2020 14:51

Go and have a lie down dear, you'll feel better after a little nap. Sweet dreams Smile

monkeyonthetable · 25/05/2020 14:57

Just for balance: I don't vote Labour. But I do despise the current government and think they are emotionally stunted, morally corrupt narcissists. You don't have to be a Labour Lick Arse member to have a healthy disrespect for Cummings & co's shameful behaviour and voice it.

RainMustFall · 25/05/2020 15:11

Yes OP, I agree. But we mustn't forget MN is predominantly left wing and so they are all salivating at this opportunity. Yes it's pathetic but they don't care. The Labour bots are earning easy money so they are happy, win/win all round.

Maybe it's time to strip away all the other boards on here and concentrate on just being a Tory bashing forum?

HirooOnoda · 25/05/2020 15:15

@RainMustFall sorry I missed your opinion re Cummings. As someone who defends the Tory party, as is your right I have to say, would you like to redress the perceived political imbalance by providing your opinion on whether the leading governmental advisor should be reprimanded for breaking his own rules, on multiple occasions?

ScarletFever · 25/05/2020 15:16

hahaha - Everyone thinks they can get involved in other people's lives and it's getting bloody ridiculous well he is telling us what to do
