I don't agree with his politics but there's something about him...

OP posts:
jugglingbeans · 25/05/2020 00:19

I’d rather Boris

I'm so sorry to hear that and wish you a speedy recovery from your affliction.

Whatnext2018 · 25/05/2020 00:26

😂As if..but now having visions of BJ pumping away

Iamthewombat · 25/05/2020 00:27

I don’t get it at all. He is like a pound shop Colin Firth mixed with a dopey posh army officer. No thanks.

I bet he'd want you to spank him.

Now I thought, “I bet he’d want you to pretend to be nanny and scold him after bath time” so I CAN see where you’re coming from with this one.

MrsEricBana · 25/05/2020 00:34

Chris Witty is definitely preferable to Raab.

BusyProcrastinator · 25/05/2020 00:37

You know he’s got a pet Tarantula?

AKissAndASmile · 25/05/2020 00:46

I’d rather Boris
Thankfully the NHS is still open. I'm sure your GP will do a two week wait, because this is clearly urgent

@BusyProcrastinator

It was Gavin Williamson who had the tarantula.

Raab has a black belt in karate.

Fishfingersandwichplease · 25/05/2020 01:07

I get a bit excited when Rishi makes an appearance- he seems so confident yet calming and he has got nice features. But jeez when the chancellor is younger than you, you know you are getting on a bit!

92anna · 25/05/2020 01:18

He called feminists “bigots.”

So, no.

LaurieFairyCake · 25/05/2020 01:29

Spank him?

He'd want you to insert a Barbie doll in his arse and force you to call him Matron Hmm

PotholeParadise · 25/05/2020 01:38

Here is the cure for anyone with a crush on Hancock.

You're welcome.

Notrightbutok · 25/05/2020 01:44

He's a monster.

I don't understand any of you. Raab, Hancock, Boris, Rees-Mogg... Specsavers hasn't been closed for that long, surely?

If you have to pick a member of the current cabinet, Priti Patel is obviously the most attractive option.

Pixxie7 · 25/05/2020 02:03

Each to their own.

YouAreTheEggManIAmTheWalrus · 25/05/2020 02:04

I initially thought there was something about him until I realised he reminded me of Rik Mayall.. a kind of creepy Alan b’stard/Richie hybrid. Now I can’t unsee it.

petermaysawthefuture · 25/05/2020 02:06

So glad I'm not the only one! Blush
Quite like Rishi too!

Spartak · 25/05/2020 02:12

Wasn't there a thread just before the last election from a poster who had a thing for Rees-Mogg?

lyralalala · 25/05/2020 02:21

As if..but now having visions of BJ pumping away

That sentence has just achieved something Weight Watchers and Slimming World both failed... that's the first time I've ever put down chocolate because my appetite died

AKissAndASmile · 25/05/2020 02:26

@PotholeParadise sorry to wake you, but 😱

OP posts:
wherestheotherone · 25/05/2020 02:27

Raab, I would as well. He is sexy. Hancock is like an annoying little brother so no. Whitty, oh now he's really nice so once you get to know him then yes I could. Boris, I couldn't. Snog Raab (hot wild sex), marry Whitty because he's dependable. Avoid the rest.

PotholeParadise · 25/05/2020 02:28

El oh el. Lockdown insomnia and my desperate need for childfree time means I'm never in bed before 3am these days! Grin

Daybydaybyday87 · 25/05/2020 02:32

I'm with you, OP. Definitely something about him!!

Daybydaybyday87 · 25/05/2020 02:34

@potholeparadise exactly the same here. I'd rather sacrifice sleep and grab a couple of hours alone to chill. I'll regret it tomorrow though when I'm shattered 😂

socialhermit · 25/05/2020 02:38

I haven't read the whole thread, but...

At the start of Lockdown and particularly when Boris was in ITU, Dominic used to look totally and utterly petrified about leading the daily Coronavirus briefing. He used to look like he might be thinking 'oh my god I cannot believe I have to do this I hate public speaking' I did have a bit of a soft spot for him then. Because of how terrified he looked and how he clearly never expected to be thrown into the position of leading the government Coronavirus public relations effort.

To be perfectly honest I gave up following politics around the time of brexit. It's just a load of blokes arguing for status and popularity. And a load of journalists trying to make the public feel angry. No one is ever cooperating for the greater good of this country. I I may as well be watching an episode of the real housewives of Cheshire, or even the JeremyKyle show.

I did like the actual human side of Dominic Raab though. I'm not talking about his politics here, just the obvious fear of public speaking. And I imagined the thoughts in his head "oh my god, why did I ever apply for this job, I hate this....Confused"
