Spinach?

dementedpixie · 15/05/2020 13:00

Chard?

MysteryFrog · 15/05/2020 13:00

Doesn’t it have a list? That should help narrow it down a bit

Ninkanink · 15/05/2020 13:01

If it isn’t spinach I’d still treat it as - either eat fresh in salads, in soups or casseroles, or wilt down with butter and garlic.

Snog · 15/05/2020 13:01

The message in the box says it's calabrese but I googled that and it doesn't look like it
I hope it is spinach but really not convinced

I’m thinking chard too

Hauskat · 15/05/2020 13:03

It’s chard

BusterGonad · 15/05/2020 13:04

I'm guessing chard too.

FudgeBrownie2019 · 15/05/2020 13:04

It's chard. Lovely with scrambled eggs for breakfast.

longearedbat · 15/05/2020 13:04

Looks like a young ruby chard.

CountFosco · 15/05/2020 13:05

Calabrese is broccoli, it's not calabrese. That stem looks more like chard than spinach but you use them in similar ways anyway.

BrotherlyLove · 15/05/2020 13:05

Calabrese is broccoli isn't it?

fairislecable · 15/05/2020 13:07

Chard

Snog · 15/05/2020 13:07

Thank you I'm going with chard and am gonna use it instead of spinach in a sweet potato rogan josh!
Hoping for the best

ednclouda · 15/05/2020 13:09

I also thought chard or spinach

Sexnotgender · 15/05/2020 13:11

I’d say spinach.

Ninkanink · 15/05/2020 13:13

It’ll be perfect in a curry.

poppet31 · 15/05/2020 13:13

Chard. Spinach wouldn't have the pink root.

therobin · 15/05/2020 13:14

Another vote for chard.

bluefoxmug · 15/05/2020 13:16

chard or spinach
they both cook & eat very similar. would definitly be great in a curry.

Samtsirch · 15/05/2020 13:18

I think ruby chard too.

midlifecrash · 15/05/2020 13:20

It's spinach. Spinach does have pink roots. It looks lovely and fresh

IHateCoronavirus · 15/05/2020 13:21

I thought spinach. Yum. Wilt it down with some onion and tomatoes and then fry an egg in it with a bit of salt and paprika on top. Yum

Mintjulia · 15/05/2020 13:21

Does it have a lemony citrus taste? It could be sorrel.
