When you clean the kitchen counter

With surface sprs, do you use a damp cloth/paper towel? Or dry?

My dh uses a dry cloth and it makes me want to heave. How can you wipe a dirty surface clean with a dry cloth and bit of spray?

And yet it doesn't say anything about water on the container. AIBU?

No point in using disinfectant. Soapy water kills the virus.

I spray liberally with dettol and I tend to wipe it dry with the kitchen towel I just dried my hands on. Then I wash my hands again Confused. I tend to clean the counter a few times each occasion I'm in the kitchen so I'm not sure if it's the same as cleaning it once or twice per day, I'd probably use a wet cloth if it was that seldom.

Spray with koh cleaner and wipe with a dry cloth. That's what the instructions say to do .

I do not spray with anything but use warm soapy water and a clean dish cloth

Spray then wipe with dry kitchen roll. The spray gets the countertop quite wet.

Dry micro fibre cloth. DH uses wet drives me mad.

I can’t overthink this or I’ll become obsessed with cleaning the work top.

At the moment I’m using a Tesco spray as it was a substitute and you need to leave it 10 or 15 (can’t remember which) minutes to work apparently!! That’s a pain in the bum. So I wipe off crumbs with dry cloth or tea towel that’s due the wash then spray with the surface spray, leave 10/15 mins then wipe with a clean cloth wet with hot water.

Wet a cloth in hot water from the tap, as hot as I can stand, wipe the sides clean and rinse the cloth under hot water again. Then spray the sides with a soap/bleach/detergent spray and wipe down with the hot cloth. Leave to dry, which doesn’t take long due to the hot water.
