Carolina skeletons, I only saw it once when i was around 10/11 (I’m now 36) but to this day I can still recall the plot and at least in my memory remember how devastating a story it was. Will have to see if I can find it to watch again.
Pursuit of happiness again only watched once, I find with films that really hit me hard I only watch once and can’t then bring myself to watch again

A recent one currently on Netflix is Platform. First film that's got me thinking in a while - a bit dark and gruesome in some bit though.

Bit of an MN hunt query...

I've got a tv series (or film) that I've never been able to find (or remember the name of!) I watched it with my babysitter when I was really young (about 5?) so mid/late 80's....it gave me nightmares for ages...funny enough, don't think I had her back as a babysitter...Shock

The bits I remember... it was a young girl who kept having visions of 'it mustn't happen tomorrow' written in steamed mirrors, a 'hall a mirrors' with the girl blindfolded in them, a sort of cult dancing around an overhead bell in a church (?) with the blindfolded girl in the middle??

Any ideas MNers? Its bugged me for years!

Haven't read the full thread, but it was a Wim Wenders film called Until the End of the World. People got completely self-absorbed by seeing their own dreams on a little screen. It often pops into my head when I think of how much social media has infiltrated all aspects of our lives.
