I only wanted to know about nurseries, I work in one. Obviously there is absolutely no way to practice social distancing, so how can we go back safely?

I really would have liked a lot more from him about the nearly 32000 dead. Contriteness. An apology to the British people. An admission other countries have far surpassed us and we have much to learn by looking to their lead. For example.

What would essential work be classed as? We really need the council to out us this shower room in for disabled DS. I cant physically shower him now and he needs to get the wheelchair in the bathroom but there is no space. Hes 5 and in nappies so needs a suitable shower room

Actually I'm very upset because Boris didn't address me personally.
Surely he must know that my own particular circumstances need to be addressed immediately.

So today you couldn't drive for exercise because you might crash and NHS resources would be redirected, and someone could die because of your selfishness (soutce, threads on Mumsnet) but now it's ok.

Social distancing between households has not changed

They are only talking about working

Jeez if the rate of infection increases it will be obvious why .

It's worth remembering this is only for England though.
Wales have said lockdown will continue as before but you can exercise more and garden centres will open, but I imagine only for essential visits (but not unlimited, you cant sit around in parks, and you cant drive for miles and miles and have to exercise close to home). Wales have also stated that as currently there is no plan to open schools on first of June, and they will open when it becomes safe.

It was only driving to work and exercise . What did you hear that said anything different ? Still trying to minimise stress on the nhs

@MinnieMe1 pretty sure that would have been classed as essential even during lockdown long as no one was shielding

I'm lost... the question asked was 'Can workmen come into your house if the 2 metre is adhered to and we stay alert?' and I said 'they always could'... even in Scotland.

I've interpreted workmen to be trades, maybe you've interpreted that as some other form?

What happened to working together??

They do that every day...they are all in the cobr meeting? Why did you think they wouldnt be doing so?
