I know I’m not bu really I’ve always been a baker but there’s been so many things I’ve never got round to making. Lockdown seemed the perfect time to start experimenting!

Would love to see anything you guys have made too!

Milkybar cheesecake, Mars bar brownies and m&m cookie bars...have been baking every week. Great fun but not so great for my waistline!

@looselipssinkships the spread is amazing isn’t it! I noticed that they do a Cadbury crunchie one too, now that definitely sounds like one I could eat straight out of the jar

I only have light cream cheese. I assume the usual recipes wouldn't work? Making me want cheesecake now.

Those are wonderful.

No pix, but I've made apple cakes & a rhubarb/coconut pudding as well as varieties of fairy cakes. When I couldn't get eggs for a couple of weeks, I experimented with using mashed banana or apple sauce in place of an egg - interesting but not perfect!

@kingaroo ideally it needs the fat content of full fat cream cheese to help it set and keep its shape. I tried it once thinking I could make a healthier cheesecake (as if such a thing even exists) but it was just a sloppy mess that wouldn’t set

I had a go at millionaires shortbread, it was delicious and really easy to make.

We can’t have cheesecake here as my DH hates cheese, so I would have to eat it all (my waistline would not thank me!!)

I made these last week for DHs birthday

It's a Delia Smith recipe from years ago (think was for comic relief) and they're so easy to do- which is all important with my lack of culinary skills!

@Avelosa yes whole raspberries. I doubled up on the biacuit base cos it's my favourite bit

Strawberry. Served with fresh strawberries on the side.

I need a good fudge recipe. Or some other recipe to use up condensed milk. DH bought it and we don't like it.

@StoorieHoose the biscuit base is definitely the best bit! I always make more so I can eat it straight out of the bowl
