Is there anything that can't be used to defeat a vampire?

Sunlight, garlic, crosses, holy water, stakes, fire, cutting off their heads (also works on those living statue people), and blessed bullets.

And they only enter houses after being invited in, don't have reflections, and if you're being chased you can drop some salt and they have to stop and count the grains.

Surely the most rubbish of all the monsters.

I remember an old Japanese movie I think it was. Called something like Vamp. All you had to do was slap a piece of paper with a word (or maybe a spell? I'm not sure) onto the vampires forehead. It stopped them dead in their tracks. Funny as hell. I loved that movie as a kid even if it was subtitled.

If I had a choice I'd prefer to be a werewolf. Vampires take themselves too seriously.

They may be easily killed - but they're excellent at rising from the grave. Look at Dracula during the 60s and 70s - he rose from his grave about once a year, and it only took such things as a vampire bat dribbling on him or a teenager conducting a half-arsed black mass to get him up and about again.

So one cancels out the other.

I never got why in Twilight they were still going to school. Centuries old and they can't think of anything more exciting. Sparkly weirdos.
