After years of heartbreaking infertility with no known cause and multiple rounds of failed IVF. My period is 6 days late, I have dull cramp but nothing like it normally is. AIBU to wish/hope/pray that amongst this chaos DH and I finally get our happy ending. I have one test left in the house, part of me wants to put myself out of my misery but I know if it's negative I'll completely fall apart and I can't afford that as have a huge week at work. AIBU to think it's finally my turn?

Everything crossed for you, hope it’s your time 🤞

Makeuptherules · 06/05/2020 07:11

I don't know how you haven't done it yet. That's willpower. I wouldn't have done ten by now! Go for it and good luck xxxx

Ginger1982 · 06/05/2020 07:14

I've been in your shoes OP. I delayed testing because I wanted to hold onto the hope. Every time, I tested negative and it was a blow. I understand the euphoria of wanting to 'stay in the moment' but I would just get it over with.

Isobored · 06/05/2020 07:14

This is ridiculous I am sat at my desk with my legs crossed because I need to pee however I can't face the rejection - you would think 50 periods later it would get easier. I promise you it doesn't.

Keeping everything crossed for you.

When I was pregnant it didn’t matter what time of day I tested.

Smilingthru · 06/05/2020 07:20

Inthepurplerain · 06/05/2020 07:23

Go wee in a cup OP and test when you’re ready.

Don’t torture yourself, it must be hard enough x

Londongirl03 · 06/05/2020 07:25

It will show if you are pregnant now. Good luck x

I think you're better off knowing for sure. Best of luck, sending positive vibes!

Twilbury · 06/05/2020 08:04

I would test , partly because I would need to know and partly because the stress of all the guess work would be doing my head in.

Good luck!

Randomness12 · 06/05/2020 08:06

Take the test, you are 6 days late and clearly not focussing on work anyway so you may as well fine out either way. I wish you the best of luck OP

Sosounhappy · 06/05/2020 08:08

Good luck

Ohohohwhereyougoing · 06/05/2020 08:11

Oh god don't hold in the pee, ouch!

OP. Your big week at work is already a bit scuppered because you cannot focus your brain..if you can wait till Saturday that would be great, but I suspect you can't. Can you do one after work today so if it shouldn't be as you hope, DH (and we?) Can hold you together and support you so you can face the rest of your week?

You are absolutely not unreasonable to think this could be it. I am so hoping it is Flowers

DakotaFanny · 06/05/2020 08:15

Got everything crossed here for you!

WobblingMyWigglyBits · 06/05/2020 08:16

Everything crossed for you
