To think Ollie Murs is a disgrace based on his TikTok?

I don't generally use TikTok, but this stupid thing has been shared right across my social media.

Basically, he made a video of himself cutting the bottom out of a Pringles can. Then took a video of himself and his girlfriend watching tv, eating Pringles from the can, placed on his crotch--so eventually she reached in to find her hand on his penis, which was poked through the bottom of the can.

So, as a joke, he got her to unexpectedly touch his penis. And made a video of himself doing it. On a platform largely used by young people.

Is it just me, or is getting someone to touch your genitalia without consent actually sexual assault?

Omg it's not like she never touches his nob! They are in a relationship! Stop being a a prude, I'm sure if she wants happy for the clip to be out there she wouldn't have let him post it. Maybe you need to go and get some wily?

MitziK · 05/05/2020 11:47

It's revolting.

However, going by the way that Pringles make my entire mouth sting, hopefully he got his comeuppance a short time later.

Bishybarnybee · 05/05/2020 12:04

Saladaysior @Bishybarnybee I’m more concerned that you think Tiktok is for 10 yr old children Than than Olly Murs might be committing sexual assault

It's not what I think, it's what I see. I first became aware of TikTok because it was causing huge social issues with the ten year olds I worked with. Despite constant efforts on our part to support parents to safeguard their children, our experience is that large numbers do not. Concerned parents on here who do control their child's access to social media - well done. But please don't be judgey and smug about those who don't because it doesn't change the reality of life for many, many ten year olds.

I wasn't aware there was a 13 plus version. That may help, though I suspect a lot of 10 year olds will be on it anyway. They will see a lot worse than this and for the record, I didn't say he was committing sexual assault.

I do think he is promoting a toxic masculinity which I would rather 10 year old boys didn't see, and 10 year old girls didn't normalise. I don't think this shows respect for women. It doesn't make me like him as a person or want to be around men who act like this. I do think he is in the public eye and must be quite stupid to want this to be what the public see of him.

But his girlfriend clearly has no problem with it and there is no law against being a dick.

ChocolateQuiltedShitPig · 05/05/2020 12:10

As if it's real. So what did he do? Sit down before her, place the tube of pringles carefully on his cock (whilst also appearing to have his tracksuit bottoms done up), then placed the pringles back in the tube on his cock, then proceed to eat them?

It's not real ffs and anyway, they both prank each other. No it's not funny but meh

cornersteps · 05/05/2020 12:11

There is only that 'version'

Hugglespuffed · 05/05/2020 12:20

Tik tok isn't for kids 🙄 I don't personally use it but I know how it works. And just so people know... his GF will have been in on it..even the waking her up one!

Chocolate1984 · 05/05/2020 12:29

Most of the comments are egging him on, suggesting he tries other stuff to get a girl to touch him unknowingly. It’s not really behaviour that should be promoted and normalised. This happens in real life and girls are supposed to giggle and accept it because it’s a laugh? He shouldn’t have filmed it for his Instagram,

SleepingStandingUp · 05/05/2020 12:31

It's a thing they do, there's also one where she wraps him up in cellotape so he can't escape and films it on a hidden camera. Some of them are staged and some of them i think are more genuine pranks. i'd assume this one is staged

LuckyAmy1986 · 05/05/2020 12:34

@WhatWouldYouDoWhatWouldJesusDo yes but would you film it and put it on social media? (hoping the answer is no... Grin

YouCannotBeeSerious · 05/05/2020 12:36

I always thought the little cunt was as straight as a zigzag.

That's my thing learned for the day I guess...

BackseatCookers · 05/05/2020 12:44

There's only one version. The terms of service say 13+ only.

So only parents can police what apps their children have - there are loads of other services that are for 18+ but don't require actual proof of identity.

I'm not saying it's easy to police kids online activity now but it's the parents job and the app is for 13+ officially.

Calling it sexual assault is very disrespectful.

They are in a relationship. It was a prank. If she has asked him to stop and he had continued then you might have a point.

Honestly MN is another world sometimes. Another thread said that trying to initiate sex (a normal thing in a relationship) was also non consensual sexual assault.

Helmetbymidnight · 05/05/2020 13:11

Maybe you need to go and get some wily?

wtf is that?

is the 'your shrewd' person back?

if you're going to make pathetic juvenile posts, try and use the right words.

heartsonacake · 05/05/2020 13:29

You are being ridiculous. Good god I feel sorry for your partner.

Anyone in a safe, healthy, trusting relationship would never have an issue with their partner doing this.

BubblyBarbara · 05/05/2020 13:30

It depends how it's done surely. If you ask "Hi, can we chat about sex?" and then work your way up with questions, then OK. If DH non verbally goes in with a boob squeeze or pinches my bum then he is going to get short shrift

LochJessMonster · 05/05/2020 13:34

Hi, can we chat about sex? that’s how sex starts every time? How romantic Confused

cornersteps · 05/05/2020 13:35

@BubblyBarbara

'Hi can we chat about sex'.

I would laugh my arse off at that effort to seduce me Confused

Pumperthepumper · 05/05/2020 13:35

Putting it on social media for teenagers to see? You’d really have no issue with that?

Helmetbymidnight · 05/05/2020 13:36

wrong-

he is36 yrs old?! how can anyone think pranking is a good look. bewildering

^^ exactly this. I can't believe this thread, absolutely ridiculous. Every single one of these "pranks" has been staged, including the ones she has pulled on him. I can't believe people can't tell that they are set up.

SleepingStandingUp · 05/05/2020 13:40

If you ask "Hi, can we chat about sex?" and then work your way up with questions, then OK
So you feel a bit horny and you turn to your DH in bed and ask if you can have a chat about sex, then have a q and a about what you would each like to do, come to an agreement and then you commence contact?
