As per the meme ‘I will die on this hill’ what are your lighthearted hills you’re willing to die on?

Mine:

Phoebe Buffay is the worst friends character. She is not kooky, she’s mean, selfish and always looking for ways to put the other friends down. Everyone is too busy hating Ross to realise Phoebe is a cock. I will die on this hill.

All Friends characters are pretty ghastly in their own way, and I can't believe they've got so old without actually learning anything about how to be adults. I don't need to offer to die on that hill, I'll be slaughtered on it without the option.

Daenerys was always a 'mad queen', she was never likable and I'm shocked anyone else is shocked at how her character arc ended.

Non TV wise - BBQ based pizza is far superior to tomato based, you can't change my mind.

Annie ooo I disagree, Rachel definitely grew throughout the series - right until the end when she got off the plane. I was so disappointed.

It's macaroon, always has been, until the food PRs got hold of it and tried to make them the new cupcake and rebranded them as macaron. If you say macaron you're basically an arse who says you're going to "Paree" and adds a million unnecessary flourishes to saying croissant.

Benedict Cumberbatch is NOT attractive. He just isn’t. Stop pretending he is. He’s a nice enough bloke who can’t say the word “penguin” but he is NOT good looking. He looks like a thumb.

That it's fucking MARGARINE.

I don't give a flying fuck that the tub of MARGARINE is yellow, has pictures of cows on it or that about three teaspoonfuls of lovely, healthy, natural, obtained from a lactating mammal's mammary secretions, butter has been dripped into a giant bucket of MARGARINE. It's still fucking MARGARINE.

Trans fats are not butter. Palm oil is not butter. Soybean oil is not butter. Adding some milk powder to it does not make it butter.

It's fucking MARGARINE. And I don't want fucking MARGARINE in my fridge, on my toast or anywhere near me.

To add to that - Rachel was totally in the right to be angry at Ross for effectively cheating. His possessive behaviour pushed her to asking for a break, and when she spoke to him on the phone to take it back (even though she was totally right to do so) he had another huge paranoid moment hearing Mark in the background, leading to his one night stand. It was all on him and his fragile male ego, he was 100% in the wrong for the entire thing. He had ZERO comeback, and shouting 'we were on a break!' for years on end just proved what a scrote he was, deflecting his shitty, gaslighting behaviour on her.

And breath Grin.
