I honestly don't know. Possibly a beach in Bali.

This was a part of it. Pics don't do it justice.

The view of Cape Town and Robben Island from the top of Table. Mountain. World class.
London and the Thames from the top of the Shard is pretty good too, on a fine day.

The night sky on a remote Scottish island. More stars than you could count. Shame it was too cold to look for more than a few minutes.

Probably the Grand Canyon, seen it on films and photos through the years, but seeing it in person it had a Wow factor.

The view from the top of Montjuic in Barcelona is one of my favourites but that may just have been my overall feeling about the trip in general. On balance though, would have to say the views sailing through the Norwegian Fjords are immense.

The inside of St Nicolas cathedral in Prague. You can't see as you wait to pay then you go in and it's wow. Huge with gold and marble everywhere.

Not exactly because of the place but landing at Glasgow airport through the most stunning, multi-layered, iridescent, alive sunset I've ever been in in my life. Better than anything on the holiday we'd just come back from, and that wasn't bad either.
And the massive central in France, pitched the tent in the dark and when I stuck my head out next morning we were looking straight across a HUGE gorge, glowing rose and orange against the new blue sky - breathtaking. Also cold. But breathtaking.

For me it was the New York skyline, it was 22 years ago and i still recall the feeling I had.

Also, Niagara Falls and agree that the Canadian side has better views. I could never tire of looking at that.

Last one for me is the view of Cologne cathedral from the air en route to landing.
This holds such a place in my heart as my late dgm is from Cologne and I grew up looking at pictures of it all around her home but to actually see it was amazing.

So many already mentioned - that first view of New York, Northern Lights, Uluru, River Gambia sunrise ... so I have gone for somewhere I love but nearer to home. Lake Vrynwy in Powys and my favourite beach in Guernsey

Loch Lomond.
We were stood on the banks of the loch on a beautiful sunny and bright autumn afternoon and the mist just appeared out of nowhere.

Also I've remembered Uganda. No idea where in Uganda. But we stopped in a gorge, absolute silence, red earth, green plants, blue sky and white sunlight. Then a choir started to sing across the valley. Utterly stunning.

Winston Churchill called it the Pearl of Africa and he wasn't wrong.

It's about light a lot.
Running along the canal near home at sunset took my breath away in March. And I have been to some stuning places. Amongst them Lake Titicaca.
But I always think about the description of a view from 'A Room With a View', that space is what we are looking for, and anything else is an obstruction to a view.
So I love looking out at the ocean, anywhere really. Especially in eery light.

Niagara Falls for me too, I don't think I would ever tire of that view, only place I have visited several times. Plus the fireworks in the evenings, though brief are quite spectualer.
Mamora Bay in Antigua at sunset is so peaceful and breathtaking.

Took the wrong turn out of Dingle (West coast of Ireland) on my first visit and found myself alone in an unreliable car on the Conor Pass as dusk was falling. Photo doesn't do it justice, all I could see was this tiny road through vast mountains stretching away to infinity. Awe inspiring but utterly terrifying.

The view of red mountains from a twelve seater plane flying from Denver, Colorado to Sheridan, Wyoming. I was possibly too sick with nerves to appreciate it.

Every single sunset in Jamaica. Friends and relatives who were accustomed to the sight used to shrug with boredom while I gabbled incoherently about 'beauty'.Hmm
