WHAT happened to you whilst you were posting under vvvqv away on important business?

Disabled loo = sore point today!
Bravely took ds to a restaurant for lunch as it's my mum and stepdad's anniversary. I was quite pleased to see a disabled toilet as I do get a few looks lately taking a 7 yo into the ladies so in we went. Ds marched straight in and pulled the red cord that dangled so temptingly in front of his nose! I had to take him in the ladies after all, leaving four members of staff trying to turn off the alarm and flashing lights . Of course it had to be one of the few occasions when he trotted along sweetly holding my hand and not looking autistic at all!

ha ha pixel I'm shuddering slightly at the use of the words 'autistic' and 'restuarant' in the same post (have a medal you're far braver then me ) but I have the same problem with those cords, and the sounds 'no touching, not ds1's, uh' can frequently be heard coming from the disabled loos around here.

Restaurant- thats the palce you take them when its been a bit tto quiet recently and you want them to scream for a few hours?

Bit like campsite- palce you take them if you want them (I specifically mean ds1 in this case) to meltdown and try to damage cars so you have to come straight home again (thankfully Mum and dad came on main trip so was workable as more than 1-1, anything else is abandoned now)

Ah well I did say 'bravely'. On the rare occasions we venture out we usually have to resort to getting the Major out of the car and strapping ds firmly in. Unfortunately the restaurant has had a refit and we got put in a booth thingy with no room for the buggy. He wasn't too bad as we had him trapped up against the wall, just a bit of clambering about and he got under the table a few times. Luckily he doesn't make a noise!
