My bikini for after lockdown??

I'm mid 50s, 2 stone overweight and about 5'4".

AIBU in thinking I can carry this off when we eventually get out of lockdown? I am thinking sunbathing in local parks, round the outdoor pool at the sports club and of course, family holiday overseas if we are able to travel.

To be honest, its not what I would normally buy but since it keeps popping up in the ads bar on MN, I thought, why the heck not!

Not the point of the thread but imagine having a body like the woman in the ad! I'd never wear clothes if i looked like her.

Actually I had a friend who had the most amazing body (I knew because we went on holiday together a few times), She used to wear straight black clothes all the time (she even wore a black bolero over her wedding dress). Stripped off she was glorious and could have worn any of those but you'd never know.

I would die laughing if I saw someone in a bikini like this! Do people actually wear them on the beach, or do the just lie on a lounger outside their hotel room?

Mind you, I go on holiday to Cornwall where normal beach wear is a wet suit. When the sun comes out you roll it down a bit while you eat some more chips.
