Defend the NHS on mumsnet and you’re thread is deleted. Slag it off and the thread stays. I’ve been posting on mumsnet for nearly 15 years and I’ve never been so disappointed.

Hey @Mintychoc1 - we took your thread down for a few reasons - we appreciate that your questions wrt to your children's teachers were entirely reasonable, and we don't wish to detract from your personal experience - but unfortunately, a title which 'wonders what teachers are actually doing' is not going to invite a measured response, we're afraid. And this is broadly what happened on your thread - it got people's backs up, attracted a few stirring trolls and in the end was not offering much in the way of advice or support to anyone - nor was it especially appealing for teachers to respond on there.
If you're annoyed/puzzled about any of our decisions, you can always drop us a line or post in site stuff. Thanks, and apols if we've not been clear about all of this.
