Lockdown has made me realise Iโ€™m in a relationship with a grumpy man child!

Just that really!! Since lockdown, he has been grumpy, bored, miserable, snappy and a general knob!๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ™ˆ He is so argumentative, I canโ€™t cope!! Its always โ€œwell youโ€™re carrying this argument onโ€, yet when I ignore him, he carries on talking!!! Itโ€™s like living with a teenager!

Please share your lockdown misery stories so I know Iโ€™m not the only one!!!

Please donโ€™t share people. There are already so many threads on this same subject.

Are there? Not by this OP there's not. Don't be so bloody rude!

Nebble · 19/04/2020 22:34

@LouiseTrees
So because youโ€™ve seen plenty of posts like this you donโ€™t think the OP should get some support, maybe donโ€™t comment and read some of the posts instead

Sorry OP Iโ€™ve not really got anything to add here just wanted to support you

Nebble · 19/04/2020 22:34

Come over here and join the rant, @Cookiemonster92! All welcome.

TheoriginalLEM · 19/04/2020 22:36

We're all stressed. So i guess cut him some slack if he's normally decent.

I think a lot of relationships will be tested.

Bumblebee1980a · 19/04/2020 23:01

Yes me too. Mine actually stormed to his bedroom like a stroppy teenager and stayed there. He said he wants to live on his own and not with his family. I wouldn't mind but the argument wasn't even with me!!!

thinkful · 19/04/2020 23:07

@Cookiemonster92 it sounds stressful, probably after lockdown it will all go back to normal. Hang in there!

RightOnTheEdge · 20/04/2020 11:14

Aw that's really horrible Bumblebee

LouiseTrees that is so rude! Who do you think you are?

It sounds awful Cookie I hope he gets over his mood and sorts himself out.
There are so many stories like this on here since lock down. Its sad.
Sorry I can't add mine though I'm single and even if I miss adult conversations at least its peaceful!

Busymum45 · 20/04/2020 11:28

We seem to be coping ok but if I get a bit fed up I go for a nice long walk by myself :)

Thinkinghappythoughts · 20/04/2020 12:16

Yes! I hear you OP. Me and DD are having a happy (ish) time. DD is being beautifully behaved as an only child 8 year old with not alot to do. In stomps dh, who is still working, barking out orders and being grumpy because he's at home "all the time". He's at home all the time anyway, just now he's been told to stay at home. And that makes him hard done by and okay to tell us what to do!

I wonder if there'll be a divorce/separation spike after Covid-19, in much the same way that there's a spike after Christmas and summer holidays, apparently.

echt · 20/04/2020 12:22

Sorry OP, I didn't mean you should LTB.
