Everyday we are hearing pay the NHS an extra 30% pay them £26 per day extra is the latest one.

I’m not disputing they deserve it of course they do & if we had an endless supply of money it’s the first place it should go.

But seriously, where do people think all this money is coming from?

What are your thoughts

I have a feeling though that the sentimental Brits will hold on to “Our” NHS at all costs. As I said before, it’s the sacred cow. It’s untouchable. It takes more and more and more to run because there is never a day when someone isn’t in the media depending more and more and more.

People are too late to wake up to the folly of the big boys Toy that is HS2. The £100 billion plus will be borrowed. It would have been far cheaper to roll out high speed broadband! Then everyone would get something for the money.

It’s going ahead though. They announced it a few days ago and, as you might expect, the announcement was largely buried. I really don’t understand why they couldn’t halt it at the £6 billion already spent and say broadband at a decent speed for everyone might get the economy moving again. What difference does 15 minutes quicker to Birmingham mean for most people now business can be effective when run remotely? At least for part of the time. I cannot see why travel would need to grow. Microsoft team has worked well for DH. It can not replace everything they do but it could certainly cut down on travel.
