I stupidly got my weeks mixed up and have just realised I'm supposed to be hosting a zoom quiz tomorrow night (not next week!) I've done a little prep and got a good advertising section together I think (slogans and pictures) but I really need good general knowledge/geography etc

The guy who done last weeks quiz was brilliant (wasn't too hard all questions you knew you should know the answer to iykwim) and I thought at the time how glad I was I didn't have to follow his class act now it turns out I do have to Blush

These are great. I’m doing the family quiz round next week so I’m going to use some of these. Also, we’ve had anagram rounds which have proved popular (one was European capital cities), and I might do a Flags of the World picture round too - will try to keep it fairly straightforward.

TroysMammy · 16/04/2020 06:49

Chocolate and sweet adverts.

BarbaraofSeville · 16/04/2020 07:04

How do you stop people googling on zoom quizzes? I know that they're only cheating themselves, but some people will think nothing of googling on another device so they can win.

Questions about the Wombles always trip us up. Despite DP and I being children of the 1970s and I certainly remember watching it, when we played trivial pursuit with friends it became a running joke that we knew all sorts about many different subjects but couldn't answer any of the questions about the Wombles.

On a related theme, questions about children's television. Name the red, green, blue engines in Thomas the Tank engine sort of thing.

Wrongdissection · 16/04/2020 07:42

You can set the timer on the questions so it times out in 10/20 seconds so no time to google as you’re using your device to play as well.

ludog · 16/04/2020 07:49

I caused quite the stir with my question in what colour packets are walkers alt and vinegar crisps.

Weedsnseeds1 · 16/04/2020 07:55

Where is Britain's only desert? Dungeness

Henry VIII had ( at least) 4 children as he recognised Henry Fitzroy as his. There were another 5 or 6 "suspected" with various women too!
