Please someone help me. The nurse is calling me soon. I can hardly talk. I've been taking co codamol 8/500 and ibuprofen
What can I do for the pain
Have you been prescribed something that helped before

He doesn’t get to be irritable. You’re suffering horribly. I’m sorry OP.

I know what Nat said might sound silly but its true. it really is that sensitive. ANYTHING that has even trace amounts of alcohol can make you sick. I'm one of the lucky one who can drink like a fish on it but others have been ill just from mouthwash.

Also try taking a Rennie just before you take it. Sometimes helps the sickness.

The covonia and chloraseptic sprays are great, only thing that touches the pain for me... Hope you feel better soon 💐

Second the gargling with aspirin if you have any - I used to get recurring tonsillitis and it does help with the swelling. I feel for you, the pain is just horrible 😔

Ahh just realised this was an old thread. Glad you got sorted OP. Tonsillitis really can knock you for six when it really gets you.
