Oasis and warehouse were in with Coast and Karen Millen. Latter were brought by Boo Hoo and are online only and struggling to survive. Of the other two, prefer warehouse. But both are heavily dependent on Debenhams concessions and that’s not a good base...
For 5-10 years, safest high street have been indetix - they own zara, pull and bear and H&M - own H&M, Monki, Weekday, Arket, &otherstories and Cos and I prefer them to be fair.
However, Indetix and H&M are very conservative with store purchases.
Stick to very big cities and don’t do concessions.
High end British high street - jigsaw and whistles are struggling and have been for years. Were brought out 5-10 years ago but they are offering big discounts in the last month and not sure if prior restructuring is going to save them.
Primark is fine, Next has wobbled but is surviving (shouldn’t have opened all the out of town superstores). Department stores are completely on the brink but have been for a while.
