To ask what do you do with a poo that won’t flush

Ladynana · 14/04/2020 17:10

Exactly that. What do you do when your poo won’t flush despite multiple attempts at flushing?

OP posts:
pinkblanchmange · 14/04/2020 17:10

Poo knife

superram · 14/04/2020 17:10

Put gloves on and break it up.

@pinkblanchmange what’s a poo knife?

OP posts:
Fred578 · 14/04/2020 17:12

What pink said. You need a poo knife

Chiyo666 · 14/04/2020 17:13

Poke it down with a stick

Littlefish · 14/04/2020 17:13

Get a stick from outside and break it up before flushing again.

Make sure you have a bin bag nearby to put the shitty stuck in afterwards.

Or for a much less revolting answer, try either:

  1. Fill bucket with water, pour down at same time as flushing

If that doesn't work go to step 2

  1. Squeeze some bath lotion or shampoo or body wash into the pan, leave for ten minutes, flush.
BertieBotts · 14/04/2020 17:15

Just wait for it to absorb some water and then flush again.

Ladynana · 14/04/2020 17:15

Do people just have sticks lying around in their bathrooms?

OP posts:
OhClover · 14/04/2020 17:15

Poo knife?!!? Shock

pinkblanchmange · 14/04/2020 17:16

'Poop knife' is an old reddit story - look it up

Iooselipssinkships · 14/04/2020 17:17

Wrap hand in toilet roll then push that shit down!

PilatesPeach · 14/04/2020 17:18

Poo knife, penis beaker - every day is a school day on MN

Makeitgoaway · 14/04/2020 17:19

Bucket of water poured from height.

If all else fails pour bleach down toilet and leave overnight. Then repeat with bucket.

This really has brightened up my day 😂😂😂😂

Ladynana · 14/04/2020 17:21

I’m not actually trolling this happened to me earlier. I put kitchen gloves on, it was horrid. I didn’t want DH finding out so had to run into the kitchen, grab them and run back again!

FFS
OP, on the slight offchance this is a genuine question and you're neither the PT or 8...what is going on in your head that makes you think that your problem is a good conversation starter?

Tarttlet · 14/04/2020 17:22

Pour warm (not boiling!) water in the bowl and let it soften for 15/20 minutes before flushing again. If that doesn't work add a drop of washing up liquid to the bowl and more warm water. It works shockingly well!

Racheyg · 14/04/2020 17:23

Sorry @Ladynana I should laugh at your expense.

My dcs regularly do very large girthy poos and we go through so many toilet brushes as we use them to break it down
