I have someone I know vaguely on FB spouting this sort of stuff and lots and lots of idiotic conspiracy stuff in general. It claims that Bill Gates is single handedly responsible for killing Indian children with vaccines.

I don't much about it - do you think he is up to no good and is a dictator (also claimed)

Polio was reduced to a small area of Nigeria. Almost extinct. They were working in dangerous conditions to reach than area (area of conflict). Then one side decared the vaccine a means of control/poison/permanent contraception and now Polio has spread again...

they are referring to and twisting Bill Gates Interview about vaccines controlling population growth in Africa - yeah sounds bad in that simple sentence right... BUT

What he MEANS is, by vaccinating children, parents no longer have to have 8+ children per family, which is what they currently do because they expect 3+ of them to die

If the children are vaccinated, they no longer have to have extra children in the expectation of losing a few of them.

I think it's safe to say that the people in the right here are the ones saying something along the lines of "Bill Gates is NOT secretly poisoning people, is NOT secretly making them infertile, and is NOT seeking to employ injected mind control via vaccines".

This is one of those times where we do truly know the answer.

It's all well and good questioning things, it's natural to question, but there is a difference between exploring other viewpoints and giving weight to unfounded scaremongering.
