Emergency Dept help

Not really an AIBU- more a plea for help from the masses and posting here for traffic. I'm a nurse in an Emergency Dept, we are going to make a room into a wellness room in our Dept for staff to go to when they need 5 mins timeout, to shout, to cry, to breathe. I need help to come up with a name for the room. Something that reflects it's a place to let go of frustration and emotions. Somewhere it's ok to just be. Somewhere you can have a wobble. Not sure 'The Wobble room' is the best name! Any suggestions from anyone please? Thanks MN x

Break out room?

crosser62 · 11/04/2020 21:27

Ours is just “the quiet room”

BeansOnToast4T · 11/04/2020 21:28

The Haven.

TheSheepofWallSt · 11/04/2020 21:31

What about The (Un)quiet Room?

Makes it clear that you can do either, it’s almost a joke- a bit of a pale one but still- and it plays on a phrase you all use anyway?

frumpety · 11/04/2020 21:32

The Sluice , done my best crying/swearing/venting in that room, be nice if it had a some cushions to chuck or a comfy wipe clean chair to collapse on. Smile

I think I saw one called The Novid Room - no references to Covid allowed.

PigInASlanket · 11/04/2020 21:42

Ha! I came on to say "The Sluice" but was beaten to it. It was always our official crying room.

ivegotthisyeah · 11/04/2020 21:43

The release room Thanks

KindKylie · 11/04/2020 21:44

'A sob in the sluice' is all nurses' route to calm isn't it?!

Sanctuary is nice

Room of requirement?

Crafting1Queen · 11/04/2020 21:52

Better out than in, Room. And yes to having some pillows or cushions there, not just for comfort sitting down, but can come in handy if anyone wants to let it all out by giving them a good punch.

Room of Requirement like in Harry Potter.
The room becomes whatever you need it to be.

ChoporNot · 11/04/2020 22:05

I like Room of Requirement. Or RoR.

@nurselife - do you need a kettle for said room? If you PM me the hospital address/your name I'll see if I can organise one from Amazon. Our local hospital recently advertised an Amazon Wishlist for stuff like kettles (from what I recall there were about 30 kettles on the list)/colouring stuff/etc I think if you were to do the same your local community would help out in a flash.
