Emergency Dept help

Not really an AIBU- more a plea for help from the masses and posting here for traffic. I'm a nurse in an Emergency Dept, we are going to make a room into a wellness room in our Dept for staff to go to when they need 5 mins timeout, to shout, to cry, to breathe. I need help to come up with a name for the room. Something that reflects it's a place to let go of frustration and emotions. Somewhere it's ok to just be. Somewhere you can have a wobble. Not sure 'The Wobble room' is the best name! Any suggestions from anyone please? Thanks MN x

We're getting a "wobble room". Wonder if we're the same Trust?

The graphite room (like in the Manhattan project, designed to contain nuclear explosion)

We use use it for a quick cry 😢

Time out room. I’d put a kettle and tea/coffee supplies, hankies and some treats in it. Pictures the wall of soothing things, waterfalls, mountains, puppies etc to remind staff that the world still has some lovely things.

Stay safe!

We have a room like this at work. It's called the Cwtch room. (Cwtch in Welsh means hug or cuddle) We're not NHS but deal with vulnerable customers face to face and it can be very upsetting so we use it if we need quiet time, or time out etc.

The rainbow room?

Itsywitsyteenyweeny · 11/04/2020 22:43

We're creating a wobble room. It's either a popular name, or a few of us work for the same Trust! I think it's a great name, but I also love the sound of breathing space, as suggested by a PP

Queenest · 11/04/2020 22:54

I like The Den. Sounds safe and informal.

FinnefanFox · 11/04/2020 23:04

From a fellow A&E Nurse anything with Coffee in will work!

Nurselife · 11/04/2020 23:44

Thanks. Some great suggestions there x

My vote for 'the release room' - that's a good one ☝️

LakieLady · 12/04/2020 09:08

Relief Room

That sounds like somewhere to go for a wank! Or a wee.
