She did better than I expected, and presented quite well. But she truly stumbled over that "I'm sorry if you feel" part, because it displayed a strong undertone of lack of compassion and dismissive impatience.

Yes, but I'm sure she'll claim her extra £10k (a month?) expenses in full, for doing bugger all, like most of them. Have any MPs stood up and said they'd refuse to take it, or would be donating to charity at this time while they're all at home - first or second home, who knows? Most of them don't seem to be doing anything else and I'm sure they're all on full salary.

Yes Jeremy Corbyn has.

Be careful what you wish for!

Alsohuman · 12/04/2020 12:54

It’s £10k in total and they have to present receipts to show it’s been spent on office equipment but don’t let the facts get in the way of political point scoring.

LemonFun · 12/04/2020 12:56

she is embarrassing - is this really the best person we have for Home Secretary?

I’m sorry but she’s not clever - she’s poorly educated for a role of that level. Lacks experience - does not present well. Is unable to speak clearly. Can’t say numbers.

Utterly pathetic shit show.

I think she is keeping her head down to let all allegations around her die down!
