DIY hair cuts gone wrong- lighthearted

Have you cut your own hair or anyone else's and it has gone wrong. I did my fringe and it's now a bit wonky

DS19 asked me to shave his head, but leave a longer top bit. Unfortunately he looks like Edmund Blackadder in the first series.
Fortunately he had taken it well.

I cut DH's hair. We had to shave it all off in the end. At least we are in lockdown and he is WFH.

I have short spiky hair and I have cut it twice now, using clippers. It's come out tolerably well, if you don't look too closely. There are some advantages to social distancing...

@Sarahlou63 Yours looks good! I fear I've left mine too long to know what to do with the (poker straight and no volume) top. Ignoring the call of the clippers for now.

My DD (9mo) is going to think mummy doesnt love her.

Cut her fringe and it's all different lengths and wayyy too short. Again!

My DH asked me to cut his hair once, years ago. I don’t know why he thought I could, but I decided to have a go. I was scared of the clippers so started with the scissors and cut a straight line across the back of his neck like a bowl cut, then realised I had no idea how to layer the rest of his hair towards the line, so I left that and attempted the same chopping action on one side, cutting off his sideburn and ending up with a sharp, jagged angle above one ear. At this point he asked to see. I said I wasn’t finished yet but he wanted to look anyway. He went mental, rushed out of the door and went to the barbers. They laughed the place down and he wouldn’t speak to me for the rest of the afternoon.

I was going to ask if you are my boss's DW but I imagine this scenario is all too common at the moment.

emin, my DH is nobody's boss so I doubt it.

I see the Corona shave, now that DH has it too, everywhere - it's clearly identifiable by the pale and untanned skull 😂 just look out for it!

Just done ours. DS1 looks like Anne Hathaway in Les Mis...

My dd has asked me to cut 2 inches of her hair and layer it....not something I can do lol

I just cut my fringe. My own flesh and blood laughed at me.
