In CBeebiesButterflyLand yes. Idiot is such a naughty word. Meanwhile, in the real, grown-up world, hundreds of people are still dying from this on a daily basis. People like OP's girlfriend are directly responsible for this. Idiot doesn't even come close to what she is.

This pandemic has really made people show their true colours and there is no going back from that. I would instantly lose all respect for my partner if they did this and I would seriously question my own judgement for being with somebody as careless, selfish and awful as this. It would be game over for me. I'd never be able to see them in the same way again. Same as the ordinarily perfectly normal and polite customer who threw a tin of beans at a supermarket employee. That's the real them. You can't undo it once they've shown their true colours.
