@VivaLeBeaver this is exactly why the footballers are annoyed at the stick they are getting. They pay their taxes in the UK, many, many millions of taxes. Yet there are many richer Brits who are tax resident in tax have a such as Monaco and pay as little tax as possible. Why are we pressurising footballers to take pay cuts but not other rich people?

If that is true, then the scheme is fucked and we can blame Dishy Rishi. It should have been an all or nothing option.

Well i think the clubs should just furlough the players who lets face it aren’t needed or working. They can drop down to 2.5k a month and see how they like it.

I read the football clubs wanted the players to agree to drop some of their wages so the backroom staff could be paid and i think its awful actually that they’re not helping.
