The Edinburgh Police today have thanked people for following the guidance. Why are so many of you in such a state of high excitement about people behaving badly when very clearly that simply isn't the case? It's very odd behaviour. Why are you doing it? I suppose it makes you feel virtuous in a sea of imagined infractions. It is, to put it mildly, very tiresome.
