Just that. People keep saying there will be a baby boom in 9months and I wondered is it true? Are people really having more sex cause they are stuck at home??

We have been. The kids are young enough that they go to bed early though, so we have the whole evening to ourselves.

FireandFury · 31/03/2020 10:40

Yes. DP is prone to getting bored quite quickly so afternoon delight has become a thing when the baby naps.

MarieQueenofScots · 31/03/2020 10:43

Nah only have a FWB, definitely not essential travel.

NotVeryChattySchoolMum · 31/03/2020 10:44

With 3 increasingly nocturnal kids - haha.

If there is a baby boom indeed, it will be only firstborns.

Pleaseshushh · 31/03/2020 10:44

I THOUGHT we would, but I am slobbering all over the house in my PJs, can't be bothered to do anything for my hair, DP is still working so when he is at home he just wants to play video games Hmm

It's like getting blood from a stone.

InDreamland · 31/03/2020 10:47

I'm 6 weeks postpartum, I'm not letting my husband anyway near down there! Besides, our baby is not letting us sleep so far too tired.

DavetheCat2001 · 31/03/2020 10:47

No way ⛔️

greenlynx · 31/03/2020 10:47

None at all, we all are stressed and DD (15) struggles with her sleep so laying awake up until midnight.

cocomelon23 · 31/03/2020 10:48

Yes but we always have a lot of sex anyway.

MadamShazam · 31/03/2020 10:48

Nope, less sex here aswell. We have dd6 at home all day, then we are both too knackered at night 😐

Lordfrontpaw · 31/03/2020 10:51

I'm ready to run into the nearest hospital to be honest. My nearest and dearest are driving me nuts (and I am sure I am doing the same).

NiceLegsShameAboutTheFace · 31/03/2020 10:51

Unfortunately I'm having none because I live alone. Bugger Shock

I dream of being on lockdown with my (very) longtime crush, who lives in north London (miles away from me). Still, dreaming keeps me happy Blush

BuggerOffAndGoodDayToYou · 31/03/2020 10:53

Well I can only keep going until we run out of condoms... at over 50 I’m certainly not intending to add to any baby boom!

IdblowJonSnow · 31/03/2020 10:53

No! Maybe if the kids weren't here. Maybe...

NiceLegsShameAboutTheFace · 31/03/2020 10:53

And if the lockdown goes on for an extended period, I may need an instruction manual when we're allowed to mingle again Grin

CarolineIngalls · 31/03/2020 10:54

Yes, but mostly because it keeps DH cheery and I need him cheery.

Don't get me wrong, it is enjoyable but I am making more of an effort than normal.

TreacherousPissFlap · 31/03/2020 10:57

With a purposeless teen mooning round the place, me working permanent 12 hr shifts for the foreseeable and DH off work and blatantly not fulfilling his promise to do all the housework it's a miracle that we're still speaking Grin

poppet31 · 31/03/2020 11:01

Nope, less because we have a toddler with additional needs and are knackered!

Aisforharlot · 31/03/2020 11:01

No no no. I feel as sexual as a brick and dp feels similar.

BiscuitLover2391 · 31/03/2020 11:02

I think it will go down. Fear of what will happen to the baby in early pregnancy, the horrors of giving birth in this environment and the job losses. If anything I know people who are holding off! I'm holding off my 2nd too.

BiscuitLover2391 · 31/03/2020 11:02

And also not doing it,nope.

Zalen · 31/03/2020 11:02

Good God no! H had basically moved out before all this started, nothing official but up until the 25th March he'd slept as home twice all month. Unfortunately, wherever he'd been staying, they had the good sense to kick him out on 25th and he's been at home ever since.

We'd already agreed to divorce, we were just waiting until the oldest came home for Mother's day to tell them. Now we're stuck in limbo, he's around all the time and we haven't told the kids.

It'll be a miracle if we both survive lockdown because at this rate one of us is going to end up buried under the cellar floor, my money is on him being the one buried.

Aisforharlot · 31/03/2020 11:02

Also I now resemble a witch wot has been dragged through a hedge backwards. No mental energy for gussying up.

LegoBloodyHurts · 31/03/2020 11:03

No. Totally lost the mood!! I’m quite surprised how many on here seem to be the opposite

Hollylolly28 · 31/03/2020 11:05

No we've actually been getting on better than usual but the kids are constantly awake Sad
