Just that. People keep saying there will be a baby boom in 9months and I wondered is it true? Are people really having more sex cause they are stuck at home??

No too stressful doing full time jobs and home-schooling- bed is only for sleeping in at the moment

crispysausagerolls · 01/04/2020 21:36

I had a fleeting sexual thought today. For a nanosecond. It was then crushed by my husband not understanding what size plate I would need to put strawberries on or knowing where we keep the knives. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Localocal · 01/04/2020 21:55

Same here. Teenagers kicking around the house until the middle of the night. They are deeply offended by any evidence of our sex life.

feelinguseless101 · 01/04/2020 21:57

No.

expatinspain · 01/04/2020 22:05

No, because my daughter is always awake late now and our room is right next to hers with paper thin walls. Definitely less sex than normal!

keffie12 · 01/04/2020 22:40

I'm widowed so the answer is defitinetely no

qwertyl · 01/04/2020 22:42

Nope, spending all day and every day with him is making him way less attractive....

MinesAPintOfTea · 01/04/2020 22:42

I think being on speaking terms would help with that

mrsnoodle55 · 01/04/2020 22:58

I can’t even remember the last time, possibly due to the fact I now sleep in the playroom on a camp bed. Horrendously unprotected frontline NHS worker means I am beyond paranoid about passing the virus on, so anything to keep the kids away from me as much as possible. Grim times

Thefaceofboe · 01/04/2020 23:00

Yes but we are TTC! I’ve seen so many posts on here saying people shouldn’t be trying for a baby with such uncertainty in the world but we’ve been trying for 19 months. Now is the perfect time with being off workGrin

Pinkerbells · 01/04/2020 23:01

We have a teenager and a young baby, so they only bloody time we would have is between about 3 and 5am. OH can fuck right if he tries anything during those hours

HeyMac · 01/04/2020 23:01

Hahahahaha

No

Nothing like the constant news of extra deaths to get your mojo going Sad. Sure it will return but not yet.

DressingGownofDoom · 01/04/2020 23:07

Yeah I'm also turned off by all the talk of death and disease. Plus being pregnant and giving birth in the middle of all this isn't very appealing.

BreathlessCommotion · 01/04/2020 23:11

If I get through this without killing him, I will be impressed. The fact that I wanted to separate before this happened and now we are stuck at home with two dc and both trying to wfh. No chance.

LargeGinOnTap · 01/04/2020 23:15

I'm single and unable to mingle but tinder is on fire though. So I reckon their might be a boom in first dates when it's over, then a trickle of weddings and babies in the years to come.

CatFaceCats · 01/04/2020 23:29

God no - I just split up with my ex about 2 weeks before lock down.
Although, in all fairness, even though I’m single and he’s not here, I’m have exactly the same amount of sex as before. Absolutely zero Grin

Chocolate1984 · 01/04/2020 23:32

Nope. Staying up later to avoid the bedtime grope.

emilybrontescorsett · 01/04/2020 23:34

I think there will be a rise in the birth rate and a rise in divorces.

lucie82 · 01/04/2020 23:49

Yes, having much more sex. I think it’s cos I’m off work and have more energy, also our youngest is in our bed with me so me and DH are doing it when and where we can

WonderWomanBra · 01/04/2020 23:53

No way!DH was actually saying this today but with DD being off school and going to bed late, there's no chance!

swimlyn · 02/04/2020 00:09

Unfortunately not.

The delivery drivers won’t come into the house for some reason. Sad

PhilCornwall1 · 02/04/2020 06:10

Not necessarily more, but can spend more time at it, especially as there are no school and college runs to do in the mornings and we are WFH.

There really are bonuses to this thing after all!

Shiraznowplease · 02/04/2020 06:37

Healthcare worker with a badly asthmatic husband, would love to but not worth risk

StarlightLady · 02/04/2020 06:54

Some people are home allne through this. And as the traditional milkman fades into history, l always said we would miss his service in the end!
