Just that. People keep saying there will be a baby boom in 9months and I wondered is it true? Are people really having more sex cause they are stuck at home??

Day 12 of quarantine together and the sound of him deep breathing is enough to send me to the spare room. It is safe to say we are not!

Nuttyaboutnutella · 31/03/2020 21:54

Hell no. I have a toddler with additional needs and a demanding baby. I'm finding it far more exhausting trying to entertain them all day long rather than our usual activities. By the time they're in bed, my brain has turned into a puddle and I need to lie in a dark room.

We've been getting on better though and we appreciate each other far more. I'm having a few low days at the moment and he's been my rock. I wouldn't bhave got through today without him, even though he's working from home.

ColourMeExhausted · 31/03/2020 21:59

Ha! Nope. Two small DC, both wfh. Libido has gone AWOL although we did manage it last night and were pleasantly surprised with how good we felt afterwards, definitely reduced stress levels. But every night we are exhausted, all I want to be is horizontal BY MYSELF.

That said, we are getting along together much better than I thought we would. Both pulling our weight re childcare which definitely makes a difference. Like some PPs, if DH wasn't doing his bit I'd be too busy resenting the f*k out of him to, well, f*k him Grin

@DysonFury
😂🤣😂
Couldn’t stop laughing when I read your post 😂

aibutohavethisusername · 31/03/2020 22:04

No!

Frankola · 31/03/2020 22:05

No. I have a full time job wfh, a toddler and a key worker husband who is hardly at home.

I'm so jealous!

Samtsirch · 31/03/2020 22:05

@Tiffanysetting
You are obviously not trying hard enough
😂😂😂

spinthebottle · 31/03/2020 22:06

We are. We have young ones but it’s something to do when they’re asleep ha.

GrolliffetheDragon · 31/03/2020 22:06

No. I'm exhausted from home schooling and working from home. Plus DS is anxious about us all catching Coronavirus and dying so he's sleeping in with us every night as it's the only way any of us get any sleep at all.

RedPanda2 · 31/03/2020 22:14

Stress makes me want more sex, so yes. Not contributing to baby boom as childfree, don't forget you can now do home terminations so no need to have a baby you don't want.

notsuremate · 31/03/2020 22:21

Jesus. No. I’m exhausted and stressed and will be lucky if I’m not divorced by the end of this. I’ve got my kids all over me all day. No personal space at all. The last thing I want is to be groped thanks

DrierThanANunsNasty · 31/03/2020 22:23

Oh god yes! Every other hour tbh. In between table tennis, baking, gardening and learning 7 new languages. Loving this lockdown thing!! Finally getting to do everything we didn’t get a chance to do before.

DressesWithPocketsRockMyWorld · 31/03/2020 22:31

Yep. It's like an extended weekend and I normally say no because I am tired from work but now I'm not tired. But no baby boom here thanks to husbands vasectomy.

Oscarsdaddy · 01/04/2020 17:29

Hell yeah, Pornhub is our channel of choice, never fails to get them juices flowing

tulipsrus · 01/04/2020 17:30

Hahahahaha

Justontherightsideofnormal · 01/04/2020 17:33

Probably about the same, but there is NO way I would even consider having more children with the uncertainty of the world!! although even before this I also wouldn’t even consider having more children

Justontherightsideofnormal · 01/04/2020 17:36

@RedPanda2 Home terminations?? How? Asking for a friend

Bozlem80 · 01/04/2020 17:36

Nope! Not had sex in 15 months & counting, DH just isn’t bothered so can’t see us ever having sex ever again! 😢

lindyloo57 · 01/04/2020 17:36

If anything I feel like it less as I worry about money, husband self employed a one man band so not wealthy, and when will this all end, doesn't seem to put him off though.

Yerroblemom1923 · 01/04/2020 17:37

I think it would be reckless to even consider getting pregnant in this current climate. Give the nhs a break! I think the divorce rate will outweigh the pregnancies, at least it'll keep solicitors in work!

Frazzledstar1 · 01/04/2020 17:38

No everyone is too stressed and tired in our house. If we didn’t already have kids then we probably would be doing it all the time but we have 3 so it’s not really happening lol

FelicisNox · 01/04/2020 17:41

I am (at night as I'm at work in the day).

The DH is home all day ATM so he has nothing to do but think about it all day and bother me when I get in but I don't mind... who knows what's in store for all of us.

Get it while you can folks!

JustDoingMe · 01/04/2020 17:42

Erm yes!!! Blush
The gym is closed so I think he is using me for an extra work out! Not actually complaining though! Wink

randomchatter · 01/04/2020 17:45

Of course... A baby boom + increase in the divorce rate!

xjox1983 · 01/04/2020 17:47

Yes
We both have very stressful jobs
And run a business
So the change doing us good
