Of the car parked outside my house music going and 2 people in the back as far from social distancing as it gets?

OP posts:

Norfolk-in-chance

JackiFazaki · 30/03/2020 10:56

Necessity?
Exercise?
Medical need?
Helping a vulnerable person?
Work?

You could stretch the situation to any of the above. Knock on the wndow and ask which of the above they... erm... come under.

SmileyClare · 30/03/2020 10:57

Can you identify the music OP and let us know just for entertainment?

I'm placing my bet with Barry White; Can't Get Enough of your Love Baby.

LaMarschallin · 30/03/2020 11:07

HaudYerWheeshtYaWeeBellend

Why would they need to go out in car and park up outside my house if they're from same household

As them maybe and you may get the answer confused instead of a bunch of random’s on MN

How many more of these type of threads hmm

Lockdown will just fly by at yours, HaudYer, I'm guessing?

donquixotedelamancha · 30/03/2020 11:12

OP, please can you pop out and suggest they do a MN AMA?

motherindenial · 30/03/2020 11:15

Can you dance to the music outside their car?
Might qualify as your once a day outing for exercise...

Sharing music recommendations?
"staying alive by the bee gees a good one - I would join you in line dancing 2 metres apart of course, I know the proper moves..."

lighthearted…

no seriously don't knock on window they might get aggressive...people have been killed for less. Honestly.

It’s gross but I just want a sausage for breakfast now

AutumnRose1 · 30/03/2020 11:21

Being me, I’d bang on the window of the music is loud but just say that, don’t say anything else.

motherindenial · 30/03/2020 11:21

me too. vegetarian mind

motherindenial · 30/03/2020 11:22

be careful about the dancing though. From another thread we know that it only takes one G.P's signature to send us to the looney bin during the lockdown...(attempt at a smile)…

motherindenial · 30/03/2020 11:23

alternatively, you could offer them some hand santiser and/or PPE

motherindenial · 30/03/2020 11:24

in a sealed bag obviously
sorry, as you've noticed I'm gradually losing it here

AmelieTaylor · 30/03/2020 11:29

Are you in the UK?

viques · 30/03/2020 11:37

We had a HMO opposite us. Two of the occupants used their car for private time. I did think about suggesting that they parked up by the church where it was dark rather than outside the house where there was a streetlight. I think someone beat me to it.

Nothing wrong with having a sausage for breakfast, just not outside OPs house.
This line has made me laugh more than anything else this year.

TheProdigalKittensReturn · 30/03/2020 11:48

If they're listening to house music I hope they can keep up.

pussycatinboots · 30/03/2020 12:10

go outside, stand next to the car and stare at them Grin
if that doesn't give him a floppy sausage, not much will!

Stampy84 · 30/03/2020 12:17

@HaudYerWheeshtYaWeeBellend and yet you felt the need to put your thoughts on it.. can’t be that bad 🙂

rslsys · 30/03/2020 12:17

Amazing how everyone is happy to take the piss out of Norfolk, but those with second homes here have wasted no time in re-locating and then proceed to ignore the rules by driving 20 miles to go for a walk. {rant mode off}

cakeandchampagne · 30/03/2020 12:18

I’ve read you can spray some water on intimate animals in your garden and they’ll move along.
Is one of the car windows open? :)

TheRoqueforteFiles · 30/03/2020 12:18

Is a broom and your arm length over 2 m long ?

SmallChickBilly · 30/03/2020 12:23

Why would they need to go out in car and park up outside my house if they're from same household

Curious pets? Lurking teens? An array of housebound housemates? Accidentally locked down with loads of relatives? Using lockdown as an excuse to try something new?

Doingtheboxerbeat · 30/03/2020 12:25

It's early doors, but this is my favourite thread for today Grin.

Ilovemypantry · 30/03/2020 12:26

Is all this going on in broad daylight OP?

Tulipstulips · 30/03/2020 12:47

I bet they are having an affair as a PP suggested. I e been wondering how people will manage it and now I know. Coordinate going out for “groceries”, go dogging in a side street.
