Did you stockpile? That's the question...

I think a lot of people presently working from home will lose weight because they are being more conscious about what they eat, less tempted to buy fast food or supermarket meal deals on a whim and not treating themselves to the odd crunchie or packet of crisps from the machine at work. Plus all those work celebration birthday cakes and home made goodies to try are, sadly, a thing of the past.

You can still go out and walk. Try experimenting with other workouts too so you're keeping more active through the day. Fitness Blender has lots of low impact workouts for free on YouTube, but they've also discounted their exercise calendars. I use them to work out and they really are brilliant!

I've already lost 2lb in isolation. I'm snacking less and doing some online workouts. I don't have much to lose but it's falling off so its definitely possible. I've stopped running too when I usually run 3 times a week.

I did that “PE with Joe Wicks” on Wednesday (9am on youtube) and I’m still aching now!! That’s more than enough exercise I think! I was absolutely shattered so definitely worth a go as I think you’d lose weight doing that every morning 👍

I've lost weight this week! I'm eating less than I normally would (which isn't easy because I tend to boredom eat, so have TONS of fruit in) and no takeaways.

Also doing Joe Wicks daily, Mkik's dance parties on instagram daily, and one fast paced walk following DS on his bike every day.

OvertiredandConfused · 29/03/2020 19:54

Thanks @HollowTalk - I’ll take a look

Sorry haven’t read the full thread but recommend intermittent fasting.
Eat between say 10.30am
and 6.30 pm and don’t eat for the other 16 hours.
Exercise as well and it’s a lot easier to make progress. Just keep busy and drink a lot of water when fasting.

Whitegrapeandblackberry · 30/03/2020 10:19

Thankyou for your replies, I'm really determined to lose some, I'm going to try the joe wicks or lesson and some walking on the spot, also going to try the fasting if I can eat between 10.30 and 6.30 out side of those hours can I drink tea ( without sugar ) and water? Xx
