Where can I get a desk?

I’m working from home for the long haul by the looks of it. I don’t have a desk/chair at home so working from the sofa but it’s really starting to affect my back. It really hurts. I know it’s not “essential” but would anyone know where I could get a desk quickly? I tried ikea but everything I chose wasn’t available for delivery and amazon has 4-6 week wait list. I’m in London

No, "essential" means food or medicines. It doesn't matter that the risk is low, it's not one of the allowed reasons to leave the house. This is why most Facebook selling pages have shut down! There are lots of things I would like to drop off and collect on doorsteps, but we can't.

Well there's lots of things for sale in supermarkets and other shops that are not food or medicines and no-one is stopping anyone from buying them.

They added off licences to the list of shops allowed to open a few days ago, which also includes DIY stores in case anyone fancies using their enforced stay at home time to decorate their house and Argos in Sainsbury's remains open, so I don't see how it matters how the OP gets a desk that she needs into her house.
