My skin has never been worse!

I haven’t changed my diet
I haven’t work any make up at all for two weeks
I’ve been showering as usual

My face is covered in huge (HUGE) spots.

Why?!

My skin looks terrible too.... I seem to have acquired face dandruff Blush

EveryDayIsADuvetDay · 29/03/2020 15:20

My skin is fine - I have got a really irritating mouth ulcer though

Applejaxx · 29/03/2020 15:25

Yes! Usually it’s better when I don’t put make on everyday, but it’s been spottier than usual, red, blotchy and dry. I was going to start a thread on it myself.

Glad it’s not just me. I’ve not changed my skin care routine or my diet, and if anything I’m eating better. I can only assume stress over the uncertainty and weirdness over the current situation, I’ve been having really vivid dream as well.

Alcohol Grin

DaxonJaxon · 29/03/2020 15:29

Face dandruff here as well @JovialNickname

And I keep putting moisturiser on it and then end up spotty and flaky at the same time.

It must be stress. I usually (touch wood, fingers crossed) have good skin with little effort.

Weatherforducks · 29/03/2020 15:32

My skin has been much better on my face, but I have spent a lot more time outside gardening. My hands are unrecognisable though, look very scalely and wrinkly.

Lottiebugz22 · 05/04/2020 20:03

Yes mines been rubbish. Its better when I wear makeup weirdly.

Ifonlywecouldwishuponastar · 05/04/2020 21:20

Are you drinking enough water? Taking make up off at night is always a good idea, even kim Kardashian says just use a baby wipe if it's late and you're tired.

DrierThanANunsNasty · 05/04/2020 21:29

I look like a pepperoni pizza at the moment, my skin is that bad. However, I think the copious packets of crisps, chocolate, lack of exercise and sunshine is probably the reason for that. Oh, and the wine.

LaLaLanded · 05/04/2020 21:36

Mine was awful after week one of working from home - honestly I think it’s because I stopped wearing make up, and as a result I pared back my skin routine. Now I’ve gone back to wearing a bit of make up, so I literally have to do my usual routine. It’s worked and my skin has calmed right down - almost back to normal.

cyclingmad · 05/04/2020 21:52

My skin is starting to looking good since I have been massaging it with ghee every night

PennyNotSoWise · 05/04/2020 21:55

Do you usually wear make up daily?

Whenever I lay off foundation for a while I get a massive purge, like I'm reliving my teens again Grin

Right now, my skin is shit. Really dry for some reason, it's usually a little oily.

Inspiralcarpetry · 05/04/2020 22:02

Ooh me too! I'm covered in gross red chin and jawline spots, it's not a good look! I don't drink and have kept up my skincare so it's not that.
The only difference to pre-apocalypse is no makeup.
A bit stressed but I'm a stresshead anyway, so...!

mous · 06/04/2020 00:46

Me too!! Wtf is it about?? I'm healthier than i have been in years now it's WFH. I see sunlight. I'm eating things like lentils. Yet keep looking in mirror in marvel at all my new zits, like Adrian Mole

Frownette · 06/04/2020 00:52

Oh it looks horrible, spotty and flaky
