I'm using up some over ripe bananas and have a spice banana loaf in t'oven. I'll post a pic when it's out of the tin. As long as it doesn't look like the dog produced it.

Anyone else got delicious looking pics of food they've made? Not normally something I'm into but I think some of us are probably cooking/baking more than usual.

I cook from scratch a lot but haven't made a cake for a while.

Go on then, show me your grub Wink

My daughter wanted a "drunk Barbie" cake for her birthday. This was my interpretation 😁

@RosesandIris Don't seem to be able to PM from my iPad. It's a Thermomix recipe but if you have a food processor that would work too.

Cut two whole oranges into quarters (keep skin on, just remove pips) and blitz to a pulp. Add 110g ground almonds, 150g SR flour, 110g sugar, 125g softened butter and three eggs. Blitz to combine.

The recipe says bake for an hour at 160 fan forced. My oven is super hot so it bakes in 35 minutes so I would check at that stage and see. It also asks for 220g of sugar but 110g is sweet enough. Happy baking.

Thank you so much Snow. That sounds like the same recipe I had. I have a food processor.

CoffeeBeansGalore · 30/03/2020 09:01

@incognitomum She was 21 (doesn't seem that long since she was in primary!)

incognitomum · 30/03/2020 09:44

@CoffeeBeansGalore sounds like she has a great sense of humour Grin My eldest is 22 and he has that sort of mindset. Don't know where he gets it from Wink

Place marking as I’ve got the virus but I’m really looking forward to baking again when I’m well.

Starting with the tuna empanada, my kids will love that as we all like Spanish comida. Thanks for sharing novia.

I’ve got some sourdough starter in the freezer too so will dig that out.

Sihaya · 30/03/2020 13:15

We're big on dessert here and love taking photos of what we've made. Here are three:

Matcha macadamia genoise layer cake
Raspberry swirl Oreo cheesecakes
Lemon curd topped with meringue

I should say its vanilla sponge with raspberry jam and white chocolate cream cheese butter cream icing. That's a mouthful lol.

incognitomum · 30/03/2020 14:53

@2000lightyearsaway123 not much of a looker? I'd be proud of that.
