I have a particularly unpleasant ex.
He is so horrible to our dc which thankfully he doesn't see very often.
I've had a sleepless night fantasy plotting revenge on him.
Please share your stories of tones you got your own back to cheer me up as the only revenge I will ever have is living a lovely life without him - which has been scarpered by this pandemic!

Not much of a revenge plan...
But our children will be the ones to choose our nursing homes and visit us there (or not!)

MyNameHasBeenTaken · 27/03/2020 12:18

Failing that, remember all the things you taught your kids?
Ride a bike?
Reading and writing?
Cooking?
Swimming?
What do they enjoy?

I don't have a revenge story. But my ex was wedded to his wallet, and still doesn't pay child support. So I reckon the best revenge would be me winning the lottery and letting him know. On the grounds he'd be so close to lots of money, yet so far away. I'm sure it would cause him almost physical pain.

I used to work in HR so was privy to some private information. Colleague A (not in HR) accused me in public of letting other people know about colleague B’s mental health problems.
Despite the fact that it definitely wasn’t me the more I protested the more guilty I appeared and I feel like some people treated me differently afterwards.
Several years later the organisation I worked for have some money issues and I was tasked with looking at staff perks and coming up with savings.
I presented a report to management who accepted my recommended proposals. It was just a coincidence that the person most affected was colleague A who lost out on about £100 per month!
No I don’t feel guilty and it still makes me smile 20 years later. Revenge really does make you feel better despite what people say .

I’ve said this previously but I glitter bombed my colleague. The look on her little face when she opened the envelope and the glitter poured everywhere... it is one of my most gleeful moments

OlaEliza · 27/03/2020 13:31

😂

SuperficialSuzie · 27/03/2020 13:37

I read of someone doing the same lottery numbers as their ex so that if the ex won, their win would be divided and shared by both of them Grin

pollysproggle · 27/03/2020 13:43

I know someone who did this...

They found out that their boyfriend was cheating on them (didn't live together) and also that bf was planning on taking the other woman on a two week holiday somewhere fancy.
The day he left for said holiday she posted a couple of juicy raw steaks through his letter box in the height of summer.
I heard through the grape vine he came back to rotting meat, maggots and flies galore 😷

MrsHandles · 27/03/2020 14:05

SuperficialSuzie that is a stroke of genius! Unlikely to win big, but the thought that it could happen Grin

Heyduggeefordays · 27/03/2020 14:22

Few weeks after splitting up realised that the ex was still using my netflix account and stalking my Instagram stories. Let it continue for a few weeks until the series finale of the programme was due to air then changed the password and posted spoilers all over my story.

Marlboroandmalbec34 · 27/03/2020 14:32

I was friends with a girl as work. We went to a big work event and was supposed to be sharing a room. It came out at the event that she had been seriously stabbing me in the back with my boss and some colleagues. We fell out that evening. She ended up pulling a fella at the night event and did not come back to the room that night

She had been bragging about her new expensive foundation earlier that day (we were young) so i peed into a glass, poured some into her foundation and gave it a shake up.

Her complexion was amazing after a few day Grin

My ex husband was demanding half of all the household furniture as part of the divorce.

So I borrowed my dad's chainsaw and have him half 😂,

Paybacks a bitch and her stripper name is karma!!

isseywith4vampirecats · 27/03/2020 14:55

petty but it made me feel better after cheating on me and EXDH moving out I found every picture of us together and wrote on every one of them in big biro letters the words CHEAT and LIAR all over his face on the pics and went round to his house and posted them through the letter box according to his daughter when I saw her his face was a picture,

LakieLady · 27/03/2020 14:59

Very soon after dumping me an ex of mine got into a relationship with one of my (so-called) best mates.

I had no idea until a diversion because of a road accident took me past her house at 6.30 am and his (very distinctive) car was parked outside (he lived several miles away).

I was so shocked, I had to pull over, but my shock soon gave way to rage. I happened to have some brake fluid in the car from when I had topped it up a few days earlier.

I also had some paint brushes.

I painted the word "cunt" in brake fluid, in foot-high letters, on the boot lid of his prized 1970s Audi 100S coupe.

It took it right back to the metal, and he never, ever suspected it was me.

permana · 27/03/2020 15:07

These are cheering me right up!
Love the one with the steaks,

Love this 😂

Soubriquet · 27/03/2020 15:09

Yeah there’s a fine line between revenge and criminal damage....

I think the line is about 100 metres behind you Lakie

fantasmasgoria1 · 27/03/2020 15:14

My ex is an alcoholic and was abusive. One day he was drunk and nasty to me so when he went to bed and passed out I cut three inches into his favourite leather coat. A few years later when we finally split and I was exhausted with it all I suddenly rightly or wrongly felt rather angry. I remembered his (rarely used) Facebook logins and deactivated his account. I think it was around 6 months later he noticed!

Honeyned · 27/03/2020 15:15

pre me, My mum pushed prawns through the heating vents in her ex fiancee's car when she found out he was cheating on her.

mummmy2017 · 27/03/2020 15:17

Best revenge was when she thought he had money
A week after he had moved in my ex had to tell her I earnt more than him and he had been getting money off me to go to the pub. When went to visit and late rooms had the most expensive hotel in the area for £30 a night offer. They had to drive up to get the kids and ask for reception to call our room. We had a lake view and everything .

Tiredmum100 · 27/03/2020 15:32

Not mine, think I heard it on radio 1. A guy rang in to say he dumped his girlfriend, then went to work. He must have left her in his house..she cut the corner off every bag of PG tips, So when her ex got in from work and and went to make a cup of tea there was loads of loose leaves in his tea. Think he realised after the 2nd one he made.

hadtojoin · 27/03/2020 17:42

The best one I have heard was a girl who always got her revenge and made sure her new boyfriend knew about it. When he cheated on her she spent months trying, and failing, to think up a really epic revenge for him. She bumped into him the next year and he said ' I really thought you would do something nasty for revenge' She just replied ' No, you weren't worth it' He looked almost
crestfallen and she heard he had been paraniod for months expecting something to happen.

SuperficialSuzie · 28/03/2020 15:08

This is a bit friend of a friend but I heard of someone who posted cheap Take That tickets for sale on a Facebook page and put their ex-boyfriends number to call...his phone went into meltdown apparently.
