Ocado new slots?

We live rurally and rely on food deliveries, we are also shopping for five elderly neighbours. Can you please let me know the latest date in April you have been able to book?

The website when I try to book beyond the 7th of April just says no more slots and no dates appear after that date. I am trying to work out if they haven't released the dates yet or if they have already gone?

I have tried calling Ocado and the phone lines are closed, it would be helpful if they released a statement.

I don't know, but when I'm trying now it says no slots available for the next three days and then won't let me see any further ahead - just says no slots. Been like that since they reopened the site on Tuesday. Not much chance of self isolating here!

Same for me. I use Ocado regularly but at the moment it just says no slots available all the time.

Yes same here, shows next three days and says none available then won’t show any further ahead. Little bit irritating that I’ve paid for a smart pass for years and years and now can’t use it! It’s not their fault but it is still frustrating that I’m trying to stay in but will need to go to the shops when usually I don’t have to go near a supermarket!

I wish the supermarkets would ration online orders. I cannot get a slot at all. Not one. So I will have to go out. Yet I know there are people buying up half the shop because they can spend all day on their laptops.

I booked 6th April on the 17th March. Nothing beyond that was showing yesterday when I logged in to edit my order.

Interestingly their email said they had delivered 80,000 orders in one week. There are 27.8million households in the UK and online grocery shopping accounts for 7% of the grocery spend. There are just not enough online grocery slots for those that want them.

We live rurally and I have a smart pass but I doubt we will get any slots going forward.

I’m the same OP and live rurally - can’t walk to any shop. Finally got on last night but no slots. They have happily take the smart pass fee though.

Try at night? I was until 1am and managed to get an Asda slot. I assume they get released at midnight.

Morrisons is the same; I'm number 144899 in the queue just to see if there's any available slots for booking a delivery.

Same shit. I booked mine 3 weeks ago for 7.4. I can’t book further that.
I’m vulnerable person so I can not go out at all.

Obv it is not ideal for any of us, but wondered if it was just me that is experiencing problems booking slots for April. No one to answer a phone call either.
I understand this is a logistical nightmare, but it is causing a great deal of stress not to be able to get any shopping slots booked no matter how far into the distance. Esp for those that are vulnerable that can not leave their houses or have no access to cars and live rurally.
I have alot of people like this relying on me, and its keeping me awake at night worrying about how I am going to get another slot, if I do, and if I don't then what? I have a vulnerable child so I am not supposed to be going out. I may have to register with the government for help, but was hoping to avoid that as we have ocado, and there will be others in great need.

Also people are more likely to stockpile if they can't see they are ever going to get a slot again - I am sure they are doing their best but they could make an announcement so we know what is happening, and plan accordingly.

I managed to book one on the 17th April. It was the earliest I could get 😖🙄

Just managed to get on there after waiting over an hour.... nothing at all .. up to end of april all greyed out and cant even get into may

Around 7.30 this morning I managed to get a slot for April 19th, got straight onto website to my surprise

Another one here with a 6/4 booking but can't see anything further. Also with the app not working it's impossible to get refunds on damaged items easily. Had something with a broken seal last week that was clearly a dodgy colour! 🤢 Oh well, thank goodness I got most of my order ok. 🙏

Is it just booked out or are they not releasing any new slots? daisy got a slot on the 19th, do you mind asking me your area? We live in Gloucestershire area.

I was looking early this morning and I don’t think they had released anything after Easter. They have obviously sent out emails to people they know are vulnerable and are offering them priority spots as it says something along the lines of if you have had an email then to log in. I have a delivery due tomorrow and can not get in to edit it at the moment (am 122632 in the queue)

I have an order tomorrow and don’t know if I’ll be able to edit it. I’m currently 88, 587 in the queue.

But when I tried to book another delivery yesterday for next week there were no slots even showing beyond Sunday (and they were all full, not that I want 2 deliveries within 3 days).

I’m in London. I did wonder if they are prioritising more rural areas for delivery.
