Ocado new slots?

We live rurally and rely on food deliveries, we are also shopping for five elderly neighbours. Can you please let me know the latest date in April you have been able to book?

The website when I try to book beyond the 7th of April just says no more slots and no dates appear after that date. I am trying to work out if they haven't released the dates yet or if they have already gone?

I have tried calling Ocado and the phone lines are closed, it would be helpful if they released a statement.

1.  Customers can only book one delivery slot every seven days, freeing up more slots for customers.	
   

   2.  We’re making sure there’s enough for everyone by working closely with suppliers to constantly restock, so all customers get what they’ve ordered each time they shop. To help with fair distribution, some products are limited to one or two per order.	
      

   3.  We’ve reviewed our range to make sure we have everything you need, but have decided to take out a small number of bulky items which reduce the number of orders we can carry in our vans.
      

Had an update letter from Ocado yesterday it was a very long letter and these 3 rules were in the middle of it.

I’ve been in the queue about four hours and just managed to get a delivery tomorrow! Such a relief as I’m returning from overseas so will need to completely isolate.

I have a delivery due at the weekend, that I put in the basket as an instant shop. I really don't desperately need some of the stuff due to come, so tried to log on to remove some of it. I was 144798 in the queue and honestly don't have it in me to wait that long. There wasn't much fresh stuff in it, so we can just put it away for emergencies, but I am sure it would help them if I could cut it down!

I got straight on the website earlier, but can't even view any slots past this Sunday!

Apparently you have to persevere. My eXH managed to get a slot for MIL yesterday for Saturday but he will have spent considerable amount of time trying.....

We've used Ocado for the 12 years we've lived here but not had a single slot over the past fortnight. I've accepted it; we're fit and well so can afford to chance nipping out to Aldi once a week for essentials, Ocado should be delivering to those who don't have that luxury.

I went on at 3am and got in in a couple of minutes. I was just editing an order though. I think you can only book a slot if you don't already have one booked?

If you can't book slots because you have one already, will more slots magically appear do we think once we have had a delivery?

I think it is right they are prioritising those that are vulnerable and elderly but how are they making those decisions? Based on what information?

We have been isolated for 14 days today as we have been instructed to do by our dd's consultant, and I am having to deliver shopping to half the village because we have no access to shops here, and they all frail and elderly and are supposed to be staying at home.

I do feel ocado could be more clear about how they intend to continue in the coming weeks. An announcement on their home page would be a good start.

I have noticed I now no longer need to queue, I am directed straight onto the website now, they have definitely updated their access for registered and long standing customers. So that is at least an improvement, as trying to change an order was taking hours and hours last week.

They sent me an email last night saying today they'd be releasing slots especially for their existing customers who pay for an anytime delivery pass.

I don't know about Ocado but I checked Tesco this morning and for the first time in ages there were delivery slots available.

Just checked Tesco, no slots there.
