Im 7 months pregnant and had a huge craving for a fish finger sandwich. I made one using the last of the fish fingers, loads of real butter on thick white bread and lots of ketchup and it was absolutely divine! Then my 2 year old comes along and licked the remaining half sandwich then coughed on it! I could cry Sad

I'd just eat it

Diva66 · 25/03/2020 18:10

YANBU

Kayagh · 25/03/2020 18:25

Eat it please my family is financially alright I’m this but with hugs sacrifice and I haven’t eaten dinner in a week as now I have all kids at home they are eating everything even my eldest that normally got fed at work 6 days a week is here and is suddenly not fussy over food means dinners I can prepare are stretched too far so I get the scraps my kids come first but I’m starving here and would kill for a chip buttys

Angrywife · 25/03/2020 18:55

You've got a toddler, I'm impressed you get any food that hasn't been licked, coughed on, squidged or snotted before you get to eat it!

MyWitzEnd · 25/03/2020 19:23

You clearly lead a easy life if you are heartbroken with that!

glennamy · 25/03/2020 19:31

Think positive, he/she has saved you 1/2lb of extra weight you would have added to your weight!

MoonlightMistletoe · 25/03/2020 19:34

I couldn't eat that , i can't even share a drink or a fork with someone let alone my snotty toddlers.

Amicondescending · 25/03/2020 19:37

I would have taken off the top piece of bread (slobbered on piece), and eaten it.
Crisp butty would be a scrummy 2nd choice though!

Barmychick · 25/03/2020 19:39

Ad my gran used to say you'll eat more dirt than that before you die !

Refereenotamum · 25/03/2020 20:37

Wouldn’t even bat an eyelid 😂

NoIDontWatchLoveIsland · 25/03/2020 20:42

Omg if i didn't eat food because the toddler licked it/got his grubby paws on it, I'd starve. eat it hon.

GreytExpectations · 25/03/2020 20:47

YABU for having ketchup in a fish finger sandwich instead of Tartar sauce.

onegiftedgal · 25/03/2020 21:11

I don't understand why you wouldn't still eat it op? It's food wastage otherwise.

LoveBeingAMum555 · 25/03/2020 21:23

Well at the minute every piece of food here is precious as we are on complete lockdown, hopefully Asda delivery coming on Saturday. I snapped at DS1 today for letting a cup of tea go cold, that's a tea bag and milk wasted don't you know! So yes I would have eaten it.

M2B19 · 25/03/2020 22:28

Wouldn’t be an issue for me Grin

Barney60 · 25/03/2020 22:31

nope not me!

SchoolMum66 · 25/03/2020 23:11

Gosh, eat it. I eat food my 18mth has spat out onto the (not too clean) kitchen floor! All the time!
Especially now, as I just went onto book an ocado and was 58,000th in the queue!

Alsohuman · 25/03/2020 23:15

Toddlers are dirty buggers

Never was a truer word spoken.

Rachel709 · 26/03/2020 02:46

I would definitely eat it.

Megan2018 · 26/03/2020 02:51

I couldn’t eat it.
I am totally grossed out by food my DD touches. I’m fine with poo, snot, sick - but can’t deal with baby touched food.

flossyflorenceflounces · 26/03/2020 03:06

Yuck. I wouldn't eat it.

missmouse101 · 26/03/2020 03:46

Good God alive, I wouldn't eat that, how vile. I am THE biggest advocate for eating anything out of date, not wasting a scrap, but hell no would I eat someone's lick and cough spray.Sad

Incontinencesucks · 26/03/2020 04:53

Unless they hacked up on it I'd eat it. But then I've had my baby stick their tongue in my mouth this week and used the 5 'minute' rule

jillybeanclevertips · 26/03/2020 09:32

I'm sorry but the lesson isn't being taught here. The kid should be sat down and given this for their dinner. Todays' lesson has been brought to you by Consequences and waste,
