Swollen feet and hands - do I get checked out tonight or wait until next appointment?

Posting here for traffic, I hope that’s okay as I’m not really sure what to do in this situation as never experienced it before and could do with advice?

Posted earlier about possible preeclampsia. 36 weeks pregnant. Blood pressure rising, not high but high for me at 140/88. Usually get really good readings. Also protein in my urine past 5 samples and no UTI. Just noticed my hands and feet look quite puffy but can’t tell if I’m just being paranoid?

Do they look swollen to you? Excuse the nails I’ve been so slack on them lol. If they do, what should I do, get checked out tonight or wait for my appointment on Wednesday?

I’ve only ever been checked out for reduced movements so not really sure what to do here?

Hi everyone! Sorry for not updating it’s been a very stressful few days. I ended up having a csection last night and my little boy was born at 6:11pm weighing 6lb 11oz. He’s doing okay but is on antibiotics and he is withdrawing from some medication I was on during the pregnancy so is very jittery but is feeding well and he is strong. Thank you to everyone who advised me to go to the hospital, I had to demand the csection and I’m glad I did because it turns out he had a true knot in his cord.

Well done @CandleFlames, that’s such a good example of us trusting our instincts and not taking no for an answer.

I hope you both get home soon to begin your life together, happy and healthy.
