These are strange times indeed!

What have you agreed with?

Maisieme · 23/03/2020 11:52

Totally agree, wish Boris would be as blunt.

Peaseblossom22 · 23/03/2020 11:53

Shocking I can’t stand the man but my ds showed me his contract this morning and he is right

Hingeandbracket · 23/03/2020 11:53

YABVFU

Peaseblossom22 · 23/03/2020 11:53

Bloody phone , shone say comment

Applejaxx · 23/03/2020 11:56

Agreed. Have already said on another thread that he is the only person in the media that is speaking sense, but no one is taking him seriously because of his past behaviour.

Sn0tnose · 23/03/2020 11:58

You know that things are going to pot when anything that man says sounds sensible. Strange times indeed!

LittleBoyJuly2020 · 23/03/2020 12:00

Is anyone going to tell the rest of us what he said??!

DrivingMsCrazy · 23/03/2020 12:00

I absolutely loathe Morgan with every fibre of my feminist being, but him telling Sam Smith to get a fucking grip was not entirely unreasonable.

SaulBerenson · 23/03/2020 12:03

Here’s his Twitter to get an idea

He is a rude arrogant prick not his stance on this has not been wrong.

playthestation · 23/03/2020 12:07

But his stance

Plantlover101 · 23/03/2020 12:11

He's obnoxious, yes, but he says things that need to be said.

Theduchessstill · 23/03/2020 12:13

I follow Alastair Campbell on Twitter and they disagree on pretty much everything but the last couple of days he's retweeted Morgan's tweets in agreement... strange times.

Daffodil101 · 23/03/2020 12:15

I always agree with piers. It’s not a popular place to be. He talks utter sense most of the time. All power to him.

WelcomeToTheAssEatery · 23/03/2020 12:16

Nothing wrong with agreeing with him. What he said is right.

I'm sick of seeing people sharing his piece on social media with the caption "he's a twat... but I agree with him here"

Just say you bloody agree with him and move on. No one cares if you think he's a twat. Sick of seeing people saying it over and over and over and over. Just parroting each other because theyr'e scared they'll look uncool if they agree with Piers Morgan. BORRINGGGGG.

Wannabangbang · 23/03/2020 12:24

I think he's right

The80sweregreat · 23/03/2020 12:24

His sticking up for people but he needs to let the politicians answer the question! He tends to rail road people.
I was t a fan , but at least his trying his best to bring them to account. Not easy
The government will pay people and the self employed are now a priority too.
Family need to pull together in these difficult times but not everyone has family. Maybe estranged family will get back together ( from a distance)

Thingybob · 23/03/2020 12:25

He's being a prat. He has said that the government advice is for everyone who is not an important person like him needs to stay at home. That is not the advice. The advice is that people can still go out for walks and exercise and I believe the reason some beaches and parks were so packed is because those going thought they would find quiet places to have a stroll. Unfortunately many people thought the same. Staying at home is OK when you have a dozen bedrooms and acres of garden but not such fun when you are a family of 4 in a 2 bedroomed inner city flat so it was not unreasonable that many headed out to a park.

CatherineOfAragonsPomegranate · 23/03/2020 12:27

What. Has. He. Said?

I cannot use the twitter link?

CatherineOfAragonsPomegranate · 23/03/2020 12:28

TheMagiciansMewTwo · 23/03/2020 12:28

YY it was UR. Nobody needed to go to the park or the beach this weekend. And if people thought no-one else would be out then they should have turned round as soon as they saw everyone else.
Boris' wishy-washy advice on this has caused people to try to justify their selfish and reckless behaviour.
I completely agree with Piers Morgan on all of this.

CallmeAngelina · 23/03/2020 12:30

I agree that he has been talking sense on this subject, but he crossed a line this morning by attempting to ridicule the video of Madonna singing/messaging in the bath even though it was kind of deserved
Kudos to Kevin Bacon for refusing to join in. He pulled a wry face and said he thought Madonna was great.

TheHumansAreDefinitelyDead · 23/03/2020 12:31

What has he said? I cannot see what he actually said on Twitter?

What what what? Can someone at least give the gist?

timetest · 23/03/2020 12:32

I find myself agreeing with him too. Very troubling.
