I’ve been awake worrying that this is the end of life as we’ve known it. Feeling petrified and scared that we will never return to normal. I know we are nowhere near the peak of this terrible virus. What if we are never able to stop the spread of the virus? Feeling quite hysterical and immensely worried about the future.

Who the fuck knows - NOBODY at this point knows. Hysteria will drive us all insane. This is a new disease - no one knows how long it will last for, nor when a vaccine will happen. It might not - there is no cure for Ebola, no cure for SARS. Might not have a cure for this, but again - nobody knows. When can we fly again? When will this lockdown end? Impossible questions when numbers here seem to be rising and not everyone is taking the lockdown seriously.

And when this mess is over I hope china is held accountable for this disaster.

EmeraldShamrock · 25/03/2020 00:28

I also hope China is held responsible for keeping a lid on it.
Yanbu. Your not alone fretting OP. It is killing me knowing my ill parents wouldn't stand a chance, if this is their last weeks on earth and I can't be with them they're very scared, then you hear everyone is going to get it at some point, at that point they'll die. My head is done in.

SARS started in China as did Spanish Flu and now this.

The most likely contender for Spanish Flu seems to be the US.

And of course nobody remembers Mad Cow Disease any more... No horrible diseases could possibly arise from poor hygiene round animal food in this country...

This.

An aching neck can be something as simple as stress or even just not wearing a bra if you are generously endowed.

An excellent point @wearybeery
