Light-hearted, escapist nonsense seems to be what I need right now.
And maybe some Bergerac...

OP posts:

I'll add A Bit of a Do
And Shine on Harvey Moon...

NurseButtercup · 22/03/2020 20:11

Yes to lovejoy, I'd also be happy with one foot in the grave and only fools and horses

cinders15 · 22/03/2020 20:12

Have a look on Drama channel? Love joy is on - well at the weekends anyway?

ClementineWardobe · 22/03/2020 20:13

Yes Minister and Yes Prime Minister
The Detectorists
Vicar of Dibley

AndAllOurYesterdays · 22/03/2020 20:14

I'd watch Lovejoy. And Keeping Up Appearances. One foot in the grave. Anything that's not Mrs Brown's boys which seems to be on constantly at the moment

earlydoors42 · 22/03/2020 20:17

Detectorists is already on iPlayer!

applespearsbears · 22/03/2020 20:17

It's on UK tv and I'm
On series five already

Toddlerteaplease · 22/03/2020 20:20

I used to love Lovejoy, but I watched recently and was gutted at how awful it was.

FloraPostIt · 22/03/2020 21:42

Yes!

HazelBite · 22/03/2020 21:45

I caught it on the Drama channel, and yes it hasn't aged well!

Sewrainbow · 22/03/2020 23:00

I watched Lovejoy yesterday on drama I think...

I loved it when a teen, the older series with Lady Jane is still ok but the later ones with Charlotte are awful

drspouse · 22/03/2020 23:02

The Singing Detective and LipstIck on your Collar please!

EmpressMcSchnozzle · 22/03/2020 23:03

Ooh, lovely idea for a thread! Okay, I'll bite - By The Sword Divided though I did catch up with a few episodes on YouTube a while back and it is a bit stagey by modern standards.

And The House Of Elliott
And Upstairs Downstairs
And The Duchess Of Duke Street

AintNobodyHereButUsKittens · 22/03/2020 23:12

Not BBC, but I’d love to rewatch Moonlighting.

I tried the first two episodes of Spooks with teen DC on iPlayer and they were riveted, so I think that’s what we’ll be watching for the next 8 weeks.

Shamoo · 22/03/2020 23:16

Jonathan Creek from the beginning!!

YourVagesty · 22/03/2020 23:16

I think the BBC should put everything on iplayer.

We've paid for it after all.

drspouse · 22/03/2020 23:17

Oh I'm slowly watching Dr Who with DS who's 8 and we're nearly at the end of Sarah Jane Adventures with him and DD who's 5.

MargotMoon · 22/03/2020 23:19

I haven't looked at Britbox but lots of these might be on there? You get the first month in a free trial

FunkyKingston · 22/03/2020 23:20

The Singing Detective and LipstIck on your Collar please!

Yes to the former, but the latter has aged dreadfully (despite being the more recent of the two)

farfallarocks · 22/03/2020 23:20

I want some comedy!! Everything is so harrowing and realistic I just want an hour of humour at the end of the day to chill

Onesailwait · 22/03/2020 23:37

I would like Murder she wrote & Diagnosis murder on either Netflix or Amazon Prime please.

Arseit · 22/03/2020 23:39

All episodes of Dinnerladies.
That would be perfect watching for now.

Arseit · 22/03/2020 23:40

And I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again. Series 2 of This Life.

notangelinajolie · 22/03/2020 23:42

Yes please to Bergerac.

And I'd love to watch Love Hurts again.

Shamoo · 22/03/2020 23:48

Oh I LOVED Love Hurts
