Is it normal for men to comment on attractive women so much?

Following on from another thread.
Is it normal for a man in a relationship of a year and more to bang on about attractive women to other women( friends, sisters, cousins)
Not my man, but someone I'm close to.
I find it a bit disrespectful but maybe I am being a prude ? He likes to describe what he would do with her/ them if they were together .
He is normally a nice bloke and not creepy.

I think he knows how much it irritates me when he talks like that. Like he is doing it for a reaction.I don't like it.

I only know one man who does this, my brother in law. I think it's really creepy and disrespectful to my sister in law and to the women he's commenting on.
