In thinking my neighbours are unbelievably selfish

I live in a terrace house. Smallish garden. Obviously neighbours very close proximity. In this nightmare times my one positive thought is that I will be able to enjoy being in my garden
Next door moved in a couple of months ago. Mum dad and two teenage sons. They are LOUD. shouting swearing etc. Out walls are paper thin. My family are not particularly quiet sometimes so it's just something we have to accept.
The sons are boxers. Their boxing club is shut. This morning they are putting up a full size boxing ring in the garden. They are several blokes round, all saying how fucking great it's going to be and that they will be having all the kids round to do sparing.
I could cry. They should not be doing this. The noise will be horrendous but the main issue is they should not be having people visiting. Do you think there Will there be some way of reporting people like this?

They’re not breaking any laws right now. Unless they’re making noise during anti social hours, there’s nothing you can do

Very stupid to be setting up an unofficial boxing club and inviting all your mates round right now. Maybe natural selection will take them out.

So many selfish idiots around. I really feel for people with loud/anti social neighbours at the moment.

Not sure what you can actually do about it though.

I drove past a bouncy castle outside some flats yesterday, loads of kids on it. SOME PEOPLE DON"T GET IT. I feel your pain.

I wouldn't worry OP. If this goes ahead one of them will catch coronavirus soon or their mums/partners will raise merry hell about this foolish idea. It won't last long.

When they've finished for the day, sprinkle birdseed on it.

I’ve no suggestions but having lived in terraced property I do know how difficult it is to have stupid neighbours living in too close proximity.

Earplugs? Gardening with your snood/scarf up around your ears? I’m sorry.

This sort of thing will simply accelerate lockdown, whereupon all the effort of putting the ring up is going to have been wasted.

I'm so sorry OP. Noisy neighbours suck at the best of times, being trapped next to them in a pandemic is a special version of hell. I know some people won't get it but I really, really feel for you. Seriously though, this whole crisis seems to definitely be showing how stupid and self centred lots of people are. However, it also shows how wonderful and caring people can be too.

Some people just don’t care. They think they’re invincible because they’re not old or vulnerable and have no care for those who are. They’re clearly not paying attention to what is sadly happening in Italy.

Do not do this. Theres absolutely no reason whatsoever to 'log it' Its pointless theres nothing the Police can do and all your be doing is tying up a line that someone with a real problem needs. Police Forces are asking people to only call 101 and 999 if it really is a police matter. By no stretch of the imagination is this one

I was socially responsible and didn't panic buy. Now I'm wondering if I was stupid and I'm worried that we won't be able to get anything when I run out. Seems it doesn't pay to be community spirited.

My neighbours have had large gatherings/parties the last two weekends. Yesterday they had friends round and today she has her son and grandkids over, including a 2.5 year old and a 4 months old baby. She is in her 50s.

Ridiculous. She may not be in the vulnerable group, I don't know if she has health problems, but they really are not heeding the advice to socially distant and stay at home.

As I typed I can hear them leaving and going home, yippee.

Yes I would tell them you are infected so best to not get too near the fence and then have coughing fits every 20 minutes.
